Icon Rock Sliders

I did a search and nothing came up. I am looking at Icon's rock sliders. They seem really nice but I can't get a good picture of them online that shows if it hides the pinch seam. I like the look of the Rock Hard sliders and they are my other choice but I kind of wanted to do something a bit different. Does anyone have the Icon's on their rig? If so, how do you like them and can you share some pictures? Thanks!

From the looks you will see the pinch seam, that's easily taken care of though by some vinyl wrap, plastidip, or rugged ridge pinch seam cover. I went with vinyl wrap as the poison spyders didn't fully cover it.

Great idea and awesome truck. I have a red JTR as well so this really helped.

Well...I ordered the Icon sliders. I'll post pics when they are installed for anyone that is looking for them. I also ordered some vinyl wrap to hide the pinch seam in case it doesn't fully hide that as well. Thanks for the idea bleda2002 !

Probably Not going to get to it until the weekend. How hard was it to get your body bolts off?

I only had to remove the back 2, was easy with my 17" long 1/2" ratchet. A bit of binding as with most people but never felt even close to breaking a bolt. I actually did all 4 (back 2 on each side) the day before. Ran them out, anti-siezed them, and then ran them back in and torq'd.

The front bolts are the ones i've heard people breaking, but just use the same technique. Hand ratchet, if it binds turn it in a bit, then back it back out. These are grade 8 bolts (10.9 since its metric), so while you can shear them its unlikely to break them by hand with a ratchet unless they got cross threaded.

I just looked at the instructions, you dont need to back out the front either so it shouldnt be too bad. Pro tip for the nut plates, vice grips on the little handle give you way more leverage and prevent it from falling in to the frame lol.

It arrived on a freight truck with a liftgate, so the guy was cool with it. I had to immediately run out right afterwards. I’ll shoot some pics soon. Trust me I wanna see them too!
