I’d be interested in how well these actually work as sliders.

Every slider I have ever purchased or seen is in the $1200-$1500 range.


i’m have to imagine these are more like the step bars I have on my Rebel that look like a slider but don’t really provide the same protection.

Update. I would consider these incompatible with my 22 Gladiator with OEM rock rails. The passenger front body bracket does not fit due to a metal bracket coming off the frame. As mentioned earlier in the thread, you have to leave off the driver’s side and passenger side center and rear pinch seam brackets. I’m guessing I’ll have to sell these locally as brand new but take a loss on them. I doubt Extreme Terrain or Barricade would cover return shipping.

I just installed them on my Rubi with the factory slider without much issue. I only used the frame brackets and none of the pinch weld brackets. There was a small issue with the bracket mentioned above but was still able to secure the bolt without any problem. The rails were mainly purchased as a step for my wife that would allow me to retain the factory rails.

I have been looking for an install write up about these(top link) fitting with the stock Rubi rails before ordering some. Do you either have or know of a write up about this install?
