  1. Are the batteries really isolated during ESS stops?

Yes, lots of noise when starting. This scope makes it easy to transfer the image.
  2. Are the batteries really isolated during ESS stops?

N1 yellow, N2 green, PCR blue, starter relay purple. Next blue is run#1 relay k13 Next blue is run/acc#1 relay k14
  3. Are the batteries really isolated during ESS stops?

New scope C is powered, so it works with battery pack. Now I can drive with the scope. I will get ESS start with starter current.
  4. Battery test and charge with TB6000

I think the min/max numbers are from the Jeep doing the battery test. Top is key in run, next is running. DBR-dual battery relay. This is JSCAN
  5. Battery test and charge with TB6000

No question, looking at the correlation of IBS data and external battery test.
  6. Battery test and charge with TB6000

    After charging batteries together.
  7. Install auxiliary battery disconnect in 5 minutes

What it does is put a small load then a larger load and with ohms law figures the internal resistance of the battery.
  8. Battery test and charge with TB6000

The TB6000 is a battery tester and charger. I purchased it three years ago when I replaced my batteries. At that time, both batteries had a health status and state of charge in the high 90 percent range.
  9. Battery voltage observations

I drove from Tucson to Seattle and back with a current shunt on my jeep. Never saw more than 50A charging current. After starting the current is 50A max then very quickly goes to 15A to 20A.
  10. Battery test and charge with TB6000

Jeep sitting for a week, 3-year-old batteries. Top is main, next is aux. I will charge both and rerun the test.
  11. Install auxiliary battery disconnect in 5 minutes

    Battery tester/charger Topdon TB6000
  12. Install auxiliary battery disconnect in 5 minutes

Battery test, top is main next is aux
  13. Battery voltage observations

First picture is radio on, next is running. Radio -6.4A and charging 17.4A
  14. Battery voltage observations

    The IBS data
  15. Battery voltage observations

Battery Voltage Gauge - The BCM acquires the battery voltage directly from the battery by way of the Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS). The BCM then sends this value in a signal on the CAN-C network to the IPC for the IPC display This is from the service manual, but I just unplugged the IBS and...
  16. Battery voltage observations

Not sure what your meaning is
  17. Battery voltage observations

The voltage on the dash display comes from the IBS.
  18. Install auxiliary battery disconnect in 5 minutes

Starter cable channel 2, aux ground channel 3. Next is main ground 2 and aux ground 3. Next two images main ground 2 and alternator 3.
  19. Install auxiliary battery disconnect in 5 minutes

Shunt reads 75mv = 150A peak, and clamp on reads 154A peak.
