Bypassed the Aux, and the vehicle starts up. Got it on the charger, now.
Taking the aux from the system made very little difference in the full voltage. If anything, it actually went UP a bit. (11.8 to 12.0). But I also know the meter is only so accurate, too, so we'll see what happens after...
Yep.. had the Noco10 on it, this weekend.. and it was reporting charged.
So, the plan is to delete the aux today, and hook up the Noco. Hopefully, it'll at least show me the main is low, and needs topping off, now.
In a perfect world, it'll just mean the aux has died, and is pulling charge...
... down to 11.8v this morning, after sitting 2 days.
Yeah.. not good. Time to do the aux delete and see if my drain stops long enough for me to get a replacement battery. *sigh*
Drove for about an hour tonight (was actually at a stop light when I responded to the last message from Hootbro), and while it started at 14.2-14.3, it eventually came down and sat at 14.0, and even 13.9.
That said, by the time we got home, after shutting off the system, it was still only...
Local Walmart only carries flooded batteries for us. AutoZone and O'Reilly carries 35s in agm, but h7 are flooded.
We have a local Napa, too, but they have VERY few batteries in stock, with everything being ship/order.
'local' is within about 20 miles. Anything more than that, and I'd have to...
So, in your opinion.. would you say there's benefit to doing the aux delete (temporarily) to see which of the two batteries is the problematic one, since testing the aux is kind of a pain, without removing it? (Or.. hmm.. I guess I could pull the aux negative, and test from there to the...
That's exactly where I'm at with it.... and like I said, if I'm gonna go that far in, for the bracket alone, I may as well go all in with the gen 3 or something.. but then, I was also a Boyscout... and trying to always 'Be Prepared' for anything, means I tend to overbuild EVERYTHING.
May look...
I would also argue, the poor location of where the aux battery is installed.
I'm at just under 5 years with my originals, but I also near to daily drive.. and, they're JUST starting to do the whole 'Aux Switches unavailable' message. Not enough to do a full replacement, yet, but if it wasn't...
Another vote, here, for the Mopar kit.
We started with the standard Fox Rubicon setup, and once we upgraded to the Bilstein Mopar lift, the ride feels much less soft, and more akin to the Mojave's I've driven.
Wound up getting about 3" initially, over the stock Rubicon, but it's settled in...
Yeah... looking at both sides, that definitely seems to be the case.
The weird thing, to ME, at least.. is the fact the straps are deteriorating into a powder in my hands.
Crystal: I'll send you photos.. definitely up for any suggestions you and your team have :)

Literally came here, this morning, to research this. Flipped back my tonneau yesterday, and found one of the straps just torn through.... was wondering if it was a squirrel or something.. and then spent 2 hours trying to see how on earth it would have even gotten in.. lol
Now to try to find a...
Wait.. a set of fenders liners that doesn't have the manufacturers name/logo in gaudy large print??
The HELL YOU SAY!
Seriously... any idea if they plan on producing a rear set too?
~ Casp
Awesome price... if it wasn't for the wife insisting on having that rear view mirror, I'd be all over this :) (looked at similar setup last year, but losing the mirror and the tonneau made it a no go :(

Sounds like you could/should install a Bolt lock, just to 'take the hint' from the wife, as it were ;)
Sure, it won't stop someone with a cutoff tool, but if it gives her additional peace of mind...happy wife and all that ;)

One last thing (I've not read the entire thread, yet, to see if anyone else recommended.. if they did.. sorry).. I'd recommend a Bolt Lock for the front hood, as well, that installs at the center of the grill, right below the hood. (And, honestly, it SHOULD be a factory option... not sure why...
Already got a hood lock, grabbed the bolt one, a couple of years ago, right before we installed the camera. Might be the reason why the guy thought there was a 'button' to press.. lol
(The bolt lock put a metal sheathe around the hood release, and is coded to your vehicle's key. Kinda shocked...
Just heard back from them, this morning... they are, indeed, helping replace the part relatively inexpensively.
Man, I wish every company offered that personal touch.
Definitely recommend them to anyone.. just kinda wish I would have bought my Tazer brand new from them, now.

So... had one of our maintenance guys at the office come to me, last week, telling me they had to run off some homeless guy who was trying to get under my hood, by 'pressing the button'.
As you can imagine, my immediate thought was.. 'Wait.. button?? What button??'
Turns out, the trail cam...
Another pov here, perhaps the missing parts were taken by the dealership/shipping company.
Seen that happen way too often when I was doing work for a local repair shop, years ago.
After all.. no one is going to miss that little box under the seat.. or a simple skid plate... Right?
That all...
