I second Bavaria being awesome. Especially the mountainous region.
Iām lucky to have gotten to go to Oberammergau several times in the last 18+ months and it is b-e-a-utiful there! I always say, āitās western Montana, but with more cultureā lol
Hello from Belgium (though Iām an American only here for a few more months).
I love seeing European overland rigs, especially from the humble beginnings. Youāre doing well, thus far.
I want an Alu-Cab so bad, but now that we know weāre leaving soon, Iāll wait until we get back to the states...
Damn does the red of the Rubiconās somehow pop well with the pink too, doesnāt it? I never wouldāve thought it looked good but seeing them in person, it works.
I got some fantastic news last week that will be bringing us back to the states this summer, specifically the mid-west this coming...
I agree, in my opinionā¦the Willys package is the perfect combination of black pieces against the bright Tuscadero ⦠at first I wasnāt thrilled about the Willys JTs coming with the color matched fenders but owning it and seeing it every day, they go well. The tonneau cover really helps add even...
Photo dump of these first three months of ownership
tried to get cutesy with this pic lmao
New Years in Stuttgart area, Germany š
Winter travels (snow didnāt stick long in BE though).
Iām weird, and I LOVE wiring projects. Itās been probably a decade since I had done anything ⦠it felt...
Iām in Belgium and the options were āpurpleā or āunknown.ā I liked the idea of unknown but they needed something in case it was stolen or whateverā¦makes sense, I guess.
When Iām back in the states, itāll just depend on where we live Iām sure. Iād guarantee you states like Texas, Florida, and...
Oh yeah, we get lots of looks lmao we like it.
I think there might be another Tuscadero JLU in the KMCC area now. My buddy saw one from across the parking lot but in the grainy picture he sent me, I donāt think itās the one we traded in. I think itās a 4XE ⦠so thatāll be crazy if thereās two...
Yup, got the red rear fog wiring done and ran today. Aside from fitting above some mildly tight spacesā¦it was easy.
Little worried the fog is too dim but should be alright.
I was very happy that the wiring worked right the first time lmao I havenāt done wiring in a literal decade (granted...
Thatās what Iām planning on doing.
I looked in the glovebox area and saw something that seemed like I could wire too but wasnāt 100% sure and when on YouTube I found the one you referenced, neat the battery. That seemed the easiest so Iām doing that.
Being stationed in Belgium, I wanted to put a red rear fog on as I do find them useful in heavy rain and fog.
Bought a cheap kit off eBay, had it mailed to my dad stateside and he forwarded them to me (so took forever but it is what it is). The kit is far from perfect, so both lights are ever...

In 2025 I Resolve To Offroad with Metalcloak!
To fulfill my pledge I need:
1. JT Gladiator BakPak Bed Rack Short Hoop System
2. Overland Rocker & Flip Step Kit, JT Gladiator, Pair (Black powder coated)
3. JT Gladiator Truck Bed Molle Gear Storage Panel, Full System (with molle...
*Update, I ordered a new gas cap off eBay from an Arizona dealer (saved on shipping and such) and two days later the light turned itself off for now
We'll see how long it stays off for. If it comes back, I'll replace the cap and clear the code by disconnecting the battery...then see...
Let us know if the gas cap fixes it permanently. We got a 2024 Willys and the same thing happenedā¦but roughly 409 miles and again after 700 miles (after I had a shop reset the first light).
Iām about to buy a new gas cap to see if that fixes it.
Unfortunately, I donāt have the luxury of a US...
Finally picked up our Tuscadero JT Willys today!!! So happyā¦so glad to be done with Fifth Third Bank (would never recommend them for financing/banking).
We have a Tuscadero colored JLU Willys Sport here in Belgium (and impatiently waiting to buy our new Tuscadero JT Willys next week) ⦠Iāve been tempted to try and go to the Ring for one lap just to be completely ridiculous lmfao
Damn, I love those wheels so much. Wish I could afford em lol
Being in Europe, weāre probably not gonna modify this truck much. Mostly will do truck bed storage and interior stuff, but when weāre back to the states, my goal will be a full overlanding build.
looks like youāve got a lift already...
Well, good news is our truck is here at our nearby base (Ramstein)ā¦bad news, the one week I can get there to try and do the registration and shit everything is closed for a local holiday (tomorrow) š¤¦āāļø
Gotta try and convince the wife to take time off in November (sheās a teacher, but we donāt...
