Realistically I expect minimal design changes for a while. Except for the magical diesel potentially materializing they are still trying to figure out long term sales on a vehicle that hasn't existed for 6 months and the next model year is a 2021 (remember this is still 2019). Now I would...
While it's only a few steps when you are carrying 50+ pounds of tools, laptop, etc walking up to the front of the truck between other vehicles is just a pain in the ass. Yes I am spoiled and yes just two wranglers ago I had manual locks and manual windows but for 54k they could have worked out...
I just walked out and checked. Mine locks no problem with the gate down (accidentally drove off the other day with the gate down even)
Are you sure your keys weren't so close to the vehicle that the proximity sensor allowed it to unlock? I had to throw my keys in the house to verify it fully...
I have never seen a reason for wifi in vehicles but the only somewhat acceptable answer anyone has ever given me is so that their kids can have internet access on their tablets or whatever when they are out on the road without having to get them setup with phones. My old boss swears it saved...
Are you sure about that? Ford had an electric rear window on the explorer sport trac. Granted I haven't drove one in over 10 years but pretty sure it would fully recess.
I still think jeep could have done a removable back window like the chevy avalanche. No need for electronics and it stored behind the back seat very solidly. It took longer to fold the seats down than it did to remove the window and latch it in place. Yes I loved both my avalanches, were they...
Thank you for asking as I have been trying to figure that out for a while now. I am sorta torn on if I want them or not as I think it's a nice addition at least until I break down and buy a lift kit. With a lift and bigger tires I don't think it would look right but for now on my stock...
That is why I am confused as Jeep hasn't said much regarding it but from what I am gathering (to be honest I thought it was your post) the idea now is that they designed it for 2 2x4 in the back vertical slot but then they want another 2x4 to sit on the wheel well to make it all level out but it...
Thanks for confirming. My luck I will put it all in and not need anything 4x8 for months and then it won't sit right or it flexes and brakes so that actually helps allot
The turtlewax seal n shine works very well and it is like $10-15 depending on where you pick it up (walmart, menards, etc). As soon as the gladiator came home I washed and clay barred the truck and put on a sealer (chemical guys jet seal) and let that cure for a few days. The next wash I waxed...
I have heard conflicting stories so I have been too lazy to cut anything to try it out. I have seen where it is expected to be 2x4's stacked and then a 2x4 cross bar over the wheel wells but then I have also heard it is supposed to be a 2x6 up front like you did. What are your thoughts now...
It's a stupid and cheap install but I put on door latch covers. Mainly because I thought it might keep some crap out while the doors are out but also just makes it look a bit more finished. They just snap on so no tape or anything.
Not sure what model your looking at and if that makes a difference, but this is my overland and you can see the auxiliary switches are below the usb and aux audio ports.
Something is up with this. The pic on the gladiator shows 4 brackets on the mounted solution but the stainless picture shows 6 brackets total so I am confused as I am sure you are. Until I noticed the stainless picture I would have said there was an inventory issue and they just sent you the...
With all the rain that occurred in less than 24 hours it wasn't as bad as I have seen. Got most of it cleaned up within an hour. Gave me time to setup a new USB drive with music for the gladiator and put on door latch covers.
