That is what I am now debating. I would figure this would at a bare minimum reduce noise as much as the sound assassin strips (not that the gladiator is noisey by any means). I figure price point would be similar and the picture he showed makes the inside look rather "finished"with the line x...
Thank you, that actually helps me allot as I still didn't envision it that way until seeing it in action. Now if I can get a day without random rain I will have to give that a shot
The biggest problem is wingspan. I can lift it no issue but safely navigating yourself around the bed without knocking into the truck is difficult (grabbing the back window and reaching for the front lip). Someone suggested yesterday to just reach in through the back window and lift up against...
Around 60 pounds, much lighter than 2 door JK. Still just a bit awkward to remove by yourself so a helper or some sort of lift is suggested. I still haven't figured out what I am going to do long run as I think the hoistatop and jbarr are a tad overpriced but may be the smartest way to prevent...
The ones that came with my overland are black carpet. Replaced them with Mopar slush, much better upgrade even though the carpet is nice when bare foot. When I traded in my JK for the gladiator there was a hole in the carpet mats where my heel always is.
I found the entire Mopar set on Amazon for something like $130 which was cheaper than the weather tech front set. I love them but I will admit that I wish they went up behind the gas pedal like the weather tech does. Also when I ordered mine weather tech did not have the rear available yet...
DAMN YOU @drdoolittle9 ! I just picked up a bunch of firewood and may be buying some gladiator takeoffs shortly. Now I have to go see how much those badboys cost.
If you need big towing or big load you need a big truck dually, supermax, f250/350, etc. Most of us come from a wrangler variant and we all know the fun it is but even grocery shopping can be difficult in a wrangler (all mine were two doors) and god forbid you want to buy a tv, grill, or piece...
It;s funny you bring up the topic as I was just thinking that I wanted something beyond black and black/red. I keep playing with the idea of the scrambler graphics or doing some blue accents on my black overland so some sort of rim to go with it would take it to the next level. If I find some...
I have never thought of the snorkel as a clean air source but I can see some logic in the thought. Well I guess that is enough of a justifiable reason to get something I think looks cool! Now I have to wait until december.
I have never needed a snorkel but they just look so cool to me. Probably useless to me but knowing the functionality is available should be worth some piece of mind right?
I definitely didn't think to try that, I was trying to lean over the top and grab the front lip. Not supposed to rain for a few days maybe I will give that a try tonight to see if I have the coordination.
Hey guys, maybe you can fill me in regarding if the Rubi has any extra skid protection vs the overland. I remember this being a difference in the wranglers. Trying to make sure I have bases covered should I go somewhere a bit more aggressive (thinking a road trip in the future)
