I stopped using the built in navigation due to it taking you weird routes and missing the destination multiple times, nevermind the fact that the built in interface is horrid to put in an address because you have to go state, city, street, address instead of just typing in the address...
I could care less what people think either way I bought it for me. That being said it reminds me of an old army truck (think korean era). Am I biased because of my wranglers? Yes I am, it is a style choice. I admit I have been driving bricks on wheels for years but if I wanted something all...
I think this is a good idea. I have had multiple jeeps but I am no mechanic by any means nor am I a hardcore off roader. Due to this I am always lacking good starting points and for some reason the gladiator is screaming for me to modify with new tires, lift kits, etc. I won't lie and part of...
The unions were originally implemented to protect the workers from unsafe conditions such exceedingly long hours, physical hazards, and violence from management (In the old days it was not uncommon for big owners to send in "supervisors" with bats). Pay was part of the unionization also but was...
I would be careful with an impact wrench as that may be a bit "too much" The included toolset does the job but a better ratchet or a cordless ratchet would make things go a bit quicker. For the initial "break" and final "tightening" I would do with a regular ratchet just so you don't tear up...
If your not doing the heavy off road you can save quite a bit with the overland and use that cash to do some of the upgrades you may want for aesthetics. As far as holding value less I would be interested in the reasoning behind that as the overland is the gladiator version of the wrangler...
Thanks. I guess that is on the order list this week along with who knows what else. Amazing how much can be spent and other than my tonneau cover I haven't even started on the expensive stuff I really want (lift, new tires, maybe rims, etc)
What are your thoughts on the rugged ridge sill guards? They obviously cover more than the mopar guards. Any issues with fitment, any impact on doors etc? I love the look of the mopar stainless steel ones but I prefer function over looks and these look like they would provide much more...
I have considered the same thing to be honest but I hate cutting my vehicles, hence why I am still figuring how I want to hang the antennae for my ham radio. My phone has USB C for high speed charging and the console only has regular USB so I have the same problem in both front and back that...
I just put in the mopar slush mats last night and I highly recommend them already. I am a big weathertech fan but weathertech doesn't have a back seat option the last I looked. The full set was less expensive than the front set from weathertech and they even connect to the drain plug in the...
Thanks much! Haven't had a chance to tow anything with the gladiator yet. How does it feel with the trailer on there? Do you have max tow package? This truck has me wanting more toys and accessories than any jeep or truck I have had, it may be more of a money suck than my boat.
Very nice. This is the first vehicle I have owned that has made me want a camper and have been looking at the options (not liking prices). Can you give some info on your trailer? Length, rough weight, etc. I am single so it's me and the dog but very curious about the idea of throwing my bike...
you have me rethinking the hothead headliners. That looks nice and I wouldn't have even thought of linex on the roof much less on the inside. What to do what to do
Please note the above post about the unit powers off when the jeep isn't running. That one caught me by surprise when I was washing the gladiator and needed to get in the garage but the keys were in the house.
Is that the new gladiator specific j-barr or are you re-using a wrangler j-barr? Been considering the order but not sure if I want to spend $500 so seeing someone with one for the gladiator give us a chance to know your thoughts overall
By the way I 100% agree with jjmstang that you just need...
