  1. Wondering if the former owner of my Gladiator is a forum member

Well I hope you stick around there is a lot of good info here and usually some help. There is an overall coarsening of our culture especially these last few years. Based on your statement of 54 years in business I’m going to guess we are pretty close in age. Bottom line is you have a nice Jeep...
  2. Hog Hunting near Northern VA

Shoot out here in Shenandoah county the deer population is thin so it’s still quite a challenge. Can’t help you there. I do know out west the feral hogs are destructive and they are pretty much open season year round
  3. Wondering if the former owner of my Gladiator is a forum member

I think it’s safest at this point to drop a letter in the mailbox to the previous owners and give them the opportunity to decide if they want to talk to you. Worst thing could happen is you wasted a stamp and they toss your letter. Nothing ventured nothing gained.
  4. Wondering if the former owner of my Gladiator is a forum member

That part is a bit iffy for sure........ if a dealer did that with my info, I'd not shop there again. It would be the last time they saw my money. Now - if the dealer called me and ASKED me if it was ok to pass along information - or better yet, if the dealer called me and asked "how long has...
  5. under Armor in order of importance

Sliders first. Choose your lines carefully until you can put a belly skid youll be fine. Factory skids while pretty lame do provide protection.
  6. Utah 2021 Gladiator Rubicon | Built - 1-Tons, Hydro, 40s, etc.

I have to compliment your build and wish I wasn’t in the process of building mine out I could save money buying this. Not to mention skinned knuckles and headaches. Very nice rig.
  7. Rock Slider Help

Oh put a WTB in the for sale part of this forum or look on Marketplace. Lots of folks take those off and get rid of them cheap. I have a set with hardware out in the barn but I’m thinking of reinstalling and going with GOAT sliders.
  8. Rock Slider Help

We’d probably need to know who made them. Then I’d suggest contacting the manufacturer.
  9. Let's see what a stock Gladiator is capable ...

Looks like an amazing adventure. Gladiator is surprisingly capable Offroad isn’t it?
  10. Wondering if the former owner of my Gladiator is a forum member

Looks like you’ve retitled this post which now makes more sense. Seriously not sure why you’re getting so much pushback. But again maybe it’s a generational thing my wife and I bought a home a couple of years ago. We met the previous owners and became friends and have remained so. I think the...
  11. Rubicon shocks question - Fox shocks vs standard?

    Well that’s your opinion anyway.
  12. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

I don’t know why you couldn’t just remove the spacers and change the shocks. You might need to realign everything when you’re done but that’s all very doable in your garage or driveway.
  13. Buy new or used tazer?

I’m all for saving a few bucks and buying used whenever I can, but unless you know the person and or know you can trust them buy new. Quadratech just had twenty percent off about a week or two ago don’t know if that’s still available or not but might try them.
  14. AEV 2” Lift or Metal Cloak 2.5” GC for Mojave

Really all depends how you’re going to use it. Mild off road with no or little rock crawling stick with AEV. If you want to do serious Offroad rock crawling etc get metal cloak or Clayton or EVO with adjustable control arms.
  15. Car and Driver: Would you rather? Gladiator vs GMC Canyon

I dunno I kinda liked With its turbocharged 3.0-liter diesel V-6 and removable doors, the Gladiator is basically a high-speed tractor. Either way a turbo four just pisses me off in a big vehicle. Wife wanted a new Mercedes E class. Went to dealer and drove one seemed awful buzzy. What’s the...
  16. Let's see what a stock Gladiator is capable ...

You’ll be fine but I gotta say I’m highly envious. What a great looking trip. The food the wine the Italian countryside holy smoke man we want pictures and video. Lots of pictures and videos.
  17. Crack in tires, Replace?

Yeah I can only speak for Maryland and Virginia. Actually California too. Used to sell cars. state beuracrats love to fuck with dealers. Texas rangers prolly not so much but Gladys Cravits sitting down at the DMV with nothing better to do yeh ok.
  18. Crack in tires, Replace?

What hootbro said is probably correct as I said earlier here in Va a tire can be any age as long as the tread depth checks and there are no serious flaws they will pass inspection. Doesn’t change what I said about making them miserable. One thing a car dealership hates is the state inspectors...
  19. Crack in tires, Replace?

OP I misread your comment about dealer NOT sharing cost of new tires. I thought they replaced but wouldn’t tell you how much they cost. Sorry must have been margarita Tuesday. Keep the original ad and any and all paperwork from the deal. Contact state consumer affairs plus whomever is in charge...
