Mine before on the narrow width axles would rub the inner fenders when it would articulate. I had 40” maxxis razers then on the -12 offset. With the rubicon width axles I haven’t rubbed them since. On the sport axles if it were mine I’d stick with the wheels you have if you are wanting to go to 40s.
I was curious about that also. I had read that I could add something to reduce the input to the running lights but I’m honestly worried I’d mess something up and have paper weights.
I haven’t had them long term to see if they would have humidity issues but will be returning them for the issues mentioned above. I like the tail lights and really thought they were going to work out until I noticed the brake lights were not getting brighter when applied. So the running lights...
I may have spoke too soon on these. I went to pull my truck in the garage tonight and noticed that the running lights and brake lights are same brightness. The only thing that changes is the extra two lines light up when you hit the brakes. So the running lights are really freaking bright of the...
Yeah I wish they didn’t have the small gap and the leds were continuous.
I had seen a post of Facebook that they should have out a set that will work with the blind spot sensors here soon.
They are pretty bright especially compared to the halogens. The reverse lights are a lot brighter. Fit are on par with the others. You can see a small gap where they don’t fit exactly flush up against the body in the front but it’s not a big gap at all.
I figured I’d give these a try after having problems with another brands tail lights. So far these are working the way they should straight out of the box. I bought mine off Amazon and price wasn’t bad for them.
Thanks I like them. When I bought them there were not as many choices for tube doors. If I were buying now I’d still consider them but I really like some of the other ones out. I like that metalcloak doors are aluminum.
I did this on mine. The only thing I had to do was change the setting in my flashcal to 4:1 after the swap. The swap was straightforward but time consuming and used the same driveshafts. I did mine in the garage with no lift but I did pick up a transmission jack from harbor freight that helped...
I swapped out mine for a 4:1 case and still have the stock one in the garage with low miles. Like JTenn mentioned if you have to pay out of pocket now would be a good time to do a 4:1 swap if you wanted one.
The 3.5” gamechanger comes with a rear track bar that is supposed to clear a 37” tire.
I picked up a clayton one for mine before metalcloak came out with theirs and it’s been great.

Barnes also has several brackets and skids available but I think Rusty’s is the only one that has the rear mount you are looking for currently...
