Find out who the Extended service contract is supplied by and google it for a reference on its value and other peoples opinions on it...

on 10 01 and newer builds there are 4 options and 4 colors that increased in price over the last orders...
they change prices about 4 times a year so that when the new years models come out they can say the prices are the same as last year...
Manufacturers have done that for at least as many...
I am sure that you are referring to the Wranglers because Chrysler has charged for Tri coats and Pearls on most of the Dodge, Chrysler, Ram and Jeep vehicles for years..
They can be purchased or some are trading the panels to differentiate from the others...I like the red look but when I first looked I wanted to get the LE Black Leather with red stitching but after a bit the metal red looks nice in my white Rubi...
At this time that will not happen with any auto manufacturer directly to the consumer...that is the way that they and John Q Public can blame the middleman (dealership)

I work for a dealership and get many questions that I cannot/will not answer as per our agreements with FCA...
They have the control of all information disseminated to the general public and Jeep Cares cannot...
I think they require a subscription (I work for a dealership so I get them) but ward automotive is the industry news journal that is current and shows production numbers for all makes and models.
