It's been a while since I posted in this thread. I went and used insane diesel oil filter kit and tied in an oil cooler and place it in front of the radiator. It added 2 qt of oil for total capacity to the system. Since I'm on 40" tires and on 4.88 gears at 85 miles per hour on the highway It...

Firmware is 11.2.8.
I may have figured out part of this. I replaced the housing on the gargantuan key fob with a small hard shell. Buttons are stiff. I suspect its holding it down on occasion, and may be simulating a multi press? I'm going to use my 2nd fob which I left in the original housing...
I updated it a couple months ago when I installed it, but haven't gone back to it since to check. Again, even if the inconsistency was solved I would still look to disable the feature.
Yup! Let me recap:
Scenario 1
Jeep is Off.
I press unlock 3x and the reverse lights turn on.
You press Lock, the reverse lights turn off.
Scenario 2
Jeep is Off.
I press unlock 1-3x (at random, 1 press may do it) and the reverse lights turn on.

Does anyone know if you csn disable the tazer feature that turns on the reverse lights if you hit the unlock button 3x? It's bugged where it's sometimes doing it with a single press. At night you may not realize they are on until you are blinding everyone on the highway. Sucks.
That's exactly what I did. I have a pair of stacked airbags in the spring (since they don't make them tall enough to do just 1).
Running air bags helps counter the tongue weight of additional loads such as when I add a trailer. However, it also adds resistance to the spring even at the minimum...
Who has rear HD Coils at a 4.5-5" lift height that are built for heavy loads(diesel + gear)?
Tried Evo and it sags too bad. Had to add a 1.5" spacer to level it within 1/8" of the front. Their kit must be designed for an unloaded bed and no spare tire. But, I have a tire carrier, 40" spare. Roof...
Anyone know of a 4.5-5" lift coil for the rear that has a spring rate designed for the diesel and heavier rigs with lots of equipment? The Evo 4.5" HD coil sags so much I had to add a 1.5" spacer to compensate so that one is out. Heck, I had to add stacked airbags because the 1.5" spacer only...
It's likely I do this in a few years. I'm having a hell of a time with my JT on 40"s come down ledges as I smash my JCR Rear bumper to hell and back every time. The departure angle and overhang is horrible. Once I start destroying stuff, at a certain point, it'll pay me to cut the rear...
Just because something was a certain way, doesn't make it right. Pulling closer to you is more natural when accelerating than pushing away from you .. its more comfortable because it doesn't require the person to lean forward against the g-force pushing you in to the seat.
Also, if you've...
The Gorilla glass doesn't hold up any better than the standard windshield, and considering the premium cost and warranty claim issues, you're almost better going with the standard windshield and paying the $250 for a local windshield installer swapping you out per incident.
The better solution...
Do you plan to tow loads above 2500lbs up steep mountain grades like the Rockies/Sierras? If so, then you may have to climb them at 40mph. If not, then none of this will affect you.
