  1. AUX Battery Replacement Experience and FYI

Well I got the car with 24 km on the clock, but it was parked 2 years in a show room. Batteries were dead, so dealer changed the starter battery (main) directly before handing over it to me. Aux battery took 6 weeks to get in Germany, as it was warranty, it had to be an original mopar battery...
  2. AUX Battery Replacement Experience and FYI

My aux was dead, and start/did not work. Stop yes, but it never started up alone. And the car did not start after being parked for more than 3 days. aux was replaced, all issues gone, can park ir 2 weeks and will start, as well as start/stop works as soon as engine is warmed up and ambient temp...

  4. most common parts to fail / strategic service parts for long trips

Hey guys I could not find a thread like this through the search, maybe due to my in-abilities or because it does not exist. As you (may) know we have a Gladiator Overland trim, 3inch AEV lift, Steersmarts steering and front track bar + metal cloak rear track bar, and an AluCab Modcap for the...

  7. Winch recommendations for Knock-Off Mopar Steel Front Bumper

Yeah, I agree, its not oem quality, but I did not expect that. the winch plate either Warn or Mopar (got to see what is available in Germany....) was planned as extra spend from beginning, would have been needed for mopar steel bumper was well. I didn't want to go for Mopar bumper due to...
  8. Mickey thompson or Kenda klever rt?

Hey we have an JT with overland trim, so low fenders (only available in Europe). We went with a 3 inch AEV HD springs lift, falcon 2.1 shocks and 8,5 wide rims. There we have the BFG K02 315/70/17 Tire, which equals to US 35" 12,5 wide version of the tire, even its only around close to 34 in...
  9. Mopar Fender Flares

just me again can you give me the codes of the front inner liners for the rubicon fenders? I found a set of Rubicon fenders in Germany, but no liners included. rear should be: 68341321aa // 68341320aa (according to page 1 of this post) Thanks
  10. Winch recommendations for Knock-Off Mopar Steel Front Bumper

We installed a MP concepts aluminum bumper on the JT, did not use the winch plate yet, others say its not so good, so we may use the original Mopar winch plate, on this bumper. Fitment and installation as good, however we changed some of the cheap coated hardware, at the coating was brittle out...

  17. German Overland build to explore Europe - EcoDiesel

well, if its put on pallets and sea freight, its not too bad. around 1500 euro I guess. are you into the locker topic? does Overland Diesel with wide axles have 32 or 35 splines? As for M220 rear axle I only find ARB diffs for 35 splines in Germany, but from my knowledge I have wide axles...
  18. German Overland build to explore Europe - EcoDiesel

yeah, thinking to add ARB air lockers, but the big BUT is the cost of install in Germany. the material costs around 1200 - 1500 euro, ok, but the install at minimum the same. So maybe I get all the tools for measuring backlash etc etc and then "try" my self. as otherwise I can get axles from...
  19. Back again with a new 25 Rubicon X

mega color and great to see you back on a Gladiator. too bad they stopped it in Germany/Europe, as we only had EcoDiesels, and no Rubicons at all. I would love a 2025 Ecodiesel Rubicon in that color you got there ;-)
  20. German Overland build to explore Europe - EcoDiesel

Some more updates from yesterday‘s work: battery still got to be placed, but first I have to remove everything, and install drive-in nuts from bottomside of wooden plate to „fix“ everything on it. I ordered some other product from 813, will install when we are back from the trip!
