Haha, yeah you wouldnāt believe how disappointed I was I couldnāt figure out how to put the pics in the body rather than at the end! ?. (the dealer showed me a paper listing the vehicles no longer equipped automatically with the block heater⦠maybe it was just a Canadian thing?!?)
I began installing my Steersmarts Yeti HD Pro track bar on my ā22 Rubicon JT, but ran into a problem.
The passenger side axle saddle bracket is too shallow for the bushing to line up with the bracket hole.
I donāt want to enlarge the bracket bolt hole in case I ever go back to stock, and I...
I installed my lift a couple weeks ago. The nuts are staked to act as a locknut. They turn on tough, but I got them. I did use a small extension on my Allen wrench.
My ā22 JT showed up without a block heater, apparently Jeep now requires Canadian dealers to spec the block heater, so some were missed.
Following is my install procedure. None of the other threads I found seemed specific to the current JT/JL so I thought I would document what I did. It was a...
Here is a pic of my actual boxes, and a screencap from their Canadian$ site. The front 110100 box I wasnāt sure about but they do fit and the holes line upā¦ā¦
The front and backs come with bolts, but I used large head plastic rivets to mount them. It was quick and easy. My thinking is the...
I took off the steel bumper endsā¦.. definitely now want to close in the back of the bumper by the fog lights. I might try something like the guy in this link:
I notice that most regrear to at least 4.88, some 5.13, yet AEV seem to set up all their rigs with 4.56ās on 37ās.
When planning my truck I intended to regear with 37ās but a local shop convinced me to stay 4.10 as many do. His take was the 8spd, 4.10 JT handles 37ās well.
I did choose light...
I installed the signal light tint from Crux Motorsports. I put on the light smoke which just blends them in a bit better with the LED headlights and granite crystal paint. They are an air release, dry application material which wasnāt too bad to apply...
I did almost the exact same as you, put on AEVās with 37ās, but I decided to keep the factory rims and do 315/70r17 NOKIAN LT3ās for the winter season. I got $1100cdn for the 0 mile Falkenās
I donāt think it will be an issue at all. I have the rubicon front flaps on, and have the rock rails off right now because I was getting ppf done. The indents donāt jump out at you even with nothing there. It is far enough to the inside it isnāt noticeable. ??
I was just thinking more about thisā¦. I was thinking the steering wheel would come back towards center when I put in the adjustable track barā¦. It will actually go further off centre so I should just go adjust my drag link, as pointed out! Thanks.
Yeah I definitely will, just didnāt plan on doing it until after I installed the new track bar and tie rod. Hadnāt thought about it disturbing the stability system.
I did the Mopar 2ā lift. Was hoping I wouldnāt need an adj. track bar but definitely doā¦. I would say it is out close to an inch.
I have a track bar on order, and donāt plan on driving the truck until all my mods are done. The wheel is off centre, which I havenāt bothered fixing until I do...
Picked up my truck from Suntek ppf. Super happy with the job! I did the grill, hood, windshield frame, fenders, rockers up to the lower hinge, and tailgate from the top down to bottom of the handle/latch.
The truck is granite crystal, so I think this will prevent scratches etc.
