Lol so glad I did not buy a diesel. To many problems with them and to many complaints they May get a little better mileage but I can afford the gas. You pay all that extra cash for a diesel and all I hear are complaints
I have been a car and truck guy all my life. Putting 35s on my jt made no difference in performance. If all you out there are so worried about mpg you should have bought a Prius
Being a Jeepston is a disease. I started out with a little YJ did mods and graduated to a TJ did mods then graduated to a JK did mods Now its a JEEP TRUCK and it is the best.
I have 12.50 x 35 toyo tires and NO COMPLAINTS on hiway handling. We just got back from a 2600 mile trip from Sacramento through Nevada Utah and Arizona some wind but no problem with handling. A lot of the driving was at 80-85 mph without a problem with wondering. I run 38 lbs. tire pressure
Bryan you are exactly right. even with a head wind and you have to run in 7th gear at 70-75 your motor is still only turning 2200 rpm. I can live with that all day
Lol this is a great subject. I have done all the research possible my 2020 Sport S has the factory tow package. It has EVERY OPTION that the MACKS TOE Has except for a 4.10 rear end and wide axels. With My 12.50 x 35 tires I would not any wider axels. As far as the 4.10 it would be nice but...
I have 373 on 35s and have no problem staying in 8th gear all day long from 52 mph to over 75 mph. Of course it will down shift on a grade or heavy Wind. I am used to high horse power cars and trucks and off the line I see no value In changing anything. All you guys trying to hop the Jeep’s up...
I have a 2020 Sport S 2” Mopar lift 12.50 x35 toyo tires. It has 3.73 gears. I have put 10k miles on it last year. Travel to Moab Utah, Nevada,Arizona and back to California. 8th gear comes and goes on the freeway but at 75mph I am only turning around 2200 Rpm in 7th gear I have plenty of power...
There is only 200 RPM difference between a 4.10 and a 3.73 gearing I have spoke with many Jeep experts and they all said you will hardly notice the difference between the 2
2020 Gladiator Sport S factory tow package (not max tow) 2” mopar lift Tires 12.50 x 35 Toyo tires. I have 373 gears and have no problem with acceleration. On the freeway is shifts into 8th at about 72-74 mph. I have contacted 3 popular shops about regearing to a 4.10 all 3 told me not to waste...
My 2020 Sport S 2” mopar lift 12.50x 35 toyo tires has no wandering at all. It has EVERY option that a max tow has except for the 373 diff. We just went on a 2500 mile trip through California Nevada Utah and Arizona. Performed flawless with a 4800 lbs. trailer
