Have this hanging around the garage and use it on jeeps door pins, bmx headsets/bottom brackets, anything that needs a little love. I have some white lithium grease somewhere but I can't find it...and as I heard long ago when someone was stressing about not having the perfect camera on them, but...
I've had these plates since the mid-90s and ran them on lots of Wranglers; and transferred it of course to the Scrambler II. You can tell these plates are vintage. Almost as soon as I got them way back when, they dropped the county from the bottom and switched from classic green with white mtn...
Like others have said, trade in the Maverick. Keep the Charger. Park it in your garage next to your new Jeep Truck! Buy a Mopar flag on eBay and hang it on the back wall of your garage behind both vehicles. Boom all of your bases covered ?
#2: one of my fave features, out of the many, that my JK didn't have. Yes, ask dealer or use some silicone grease and see if that clears it up. You could prob even do this on your next lot visit or another test drive, before purchase
OP...I have the 7 radio in my Sport S so it might not be quite the same, but possibly of use to someone else searching for this. I too have wanted the radio off for various reasons, same as you. On my particular unit/screen, if the radio is on, I can simply press on Media, and it shuts off the...
To the OP... here's the Gobi and Tan you were originally talking about, albeit a few years later lol. But maybe it'll help someone. I think it looks rad together! My last few JK's had black dash black seats all black and it was wayyyy too dark inside for me, so this does the trick.
Yes, these are the +18mm offset. My JT is a Sport S, and there's no rub at all with full turn with the 285's. You might be right abt rubbing on 35s. I had some rubbing long ago on a TJ and used washers on the turn steering stop bolt on the frame. It cuts down the turn radius but it cured the rub...
JTDay! I researched and stressed out about the poke and offset way more than should be legally allowed haha. I had originally ordered the Quadratec white CJ retro wheels but they were backordered for almost a year, so I went with these and couldn't be happier! Thank you for your kind words : )
Howdy. Quick details and Debut Pics...ordered 3/20, Built 5/19, then this Gobi was LOST in the system, like untraceable. Finally arrived 7/16 out of the blue to dealer without a window sticker. Best guess is, it didn't get scanned in the train transfer lot (because there wasn't a window sticker)...
I just spent some time on JeepChat and they solved my issue, and I thought I'd pass along the info. First, the login for Jeep, and Mopar, is same as the UConnect app. I didn't know this. I signed up for the app but hadn't ever used the websites for logging in, etc.
I wasn't able to enter a...
I'm ShOcKeD that they had the parts to build this, almost everything they sell is "backordered" and no one at Q-tec knows anything. When questioned, they just shrug. Amazing they are still in business.
Glad you found it also! For others reading, I back in the garage to use my camera to see wall and back in just when the hitch mounted D-Ring meets the wall. I had a huge clunk pulling out of the driveway and turning into the street, just as the ass end hit the water drainage concrete that's...
Out of curiosity, how did the rear glass shatter? I'm asking if it was something we can do to avoid it too, i.e. a weird angle off road while turning a certain way or something and it binded it... And I'm sorry to hear about your damage. Ya too bad the rear slider is so tiny. I noticed this too.
