Stanadyne and PS. Silver PS for warmer months, white (winter) and currently using Stanadyne performance bottle (blue label). Cant say if it runs any better as my Jeep is not quite a month old but its good insurance. I know manufacturers had to change components to accommodate for ULSD but meh...
New updates for winter as I modify and make changes after our first season with the build. We found storage to be a small problem but an easy solution to solve. Ordered the camco hitch basket which im going to modify to fit on the front hitch portion of the trailer. Only needs to hold a couple...
Remember diesels cooler than gas counterparts during the combustion process. As such, it will take a bit longer to warm up that coolant which in turn warms up the cab. I’ve noticed the difference switching from gas to a diesel Gladiator. But I will say this, its helluva lot faster warming up...
Just an interesting dyno graph by AFE. Those are big torque numbers to post online for everyone to see! Maybe some on that particular dyno day caused the ecodiesel to pull a bit more power? Who knows?
I heard the stock intake tubing is quite restrictive on the inside with the baffling. From the outside it looks huge (4” or so) but it would interesting to see an actual photo of one. Maybe one day I will take mine apart and snap some pictures. One who knows how turbos work, free flowing exhaust...
Those look like Trucklite/Rigid 7” LEDs. Love that they have heated options now. I had them on my JK but I was unimpressed with the light pattern on low beam
I live along the coastal mountains of BC Canada. I can tell you this much, we get tons of heavy wet snow and it sucks with LED headlights. My new JT and wifes brand new bronco both ice up. Until manufacturers heat the lenses and have it automatically activate at say 5 degrees celsius or less, it...
In canadian dollaramas.
20’ sport s gas Paid about 46k out the door no tax ?
traded in my 20’ with 27,000km
51k! Also got to keep my LED headlights, winch, rubicon bumper and tonneau.
into a new 21’ sport s diesel. Yeah…..true story
My previous 20’ gasser had the 1.5” teraflex and an additional .5” spacer. The 1.5” comes with 1” plus the .5”. Just get that kit and keep the .5”, you might want it down the road. Personally the .75” doesnt look much different over stock. I just added the 1.5” to my new 21’ diesel today.
I noticed water wetter diesel being sold at my local parts store. Anyone tried that? Hyper lube also claims up to 20 celsius reduction. Curious, if I have issues I might give it a shot
disagree. 2008 F450 6.4 in my old forestry truck. Original DpF,turbos and trans when it was sold in 2015 with over 350k. It towed most its life and idled in cold winter months in Alberta Canada winters. We had a 2012 6.7 that was equally as reliable. Zero issues in 3 years and 125k.
Brand new 21’ diesel Sport S. just put on my rubi bumper and winch from my previous 20’ trade in and did the 1.5” teraflex level kit. Bumper/winch/plate dropped it around .5” technically I levelled it 1”. Love this truck! Tons of power and crushing my 3.6 in mpg.
Long story shorty, big trips planned this coming year. Yukon, NWT, Alberta and our home province of BC. Looking at the WeBoost Drive. Anyone mounted one? Any good? Thanks.
Interesting your IATs dropped. You would think they would increase as it would draw heated air from inside the engine?!? Hmm good to know. Wish we had more options for 3.0cm, pretty slim pickings.
