Probably not but it looks and sounds damn good. Same with my exhaust, sounds good and I expected nothing else. Although my exhaust did give me a solid .5-1mpg overall average improvement.
Added the Mopar intake today. We will see if anything changes. My guess is maybe as my old filter had almost...
Added the Mopar Air Intake and filter. Love the OEM quality /fit and the air box design is my favourite part of the whole system. Box outlet/hose inlet is substantially larger,(3.75”IDvs 3”ID) on par with my wifes 3.6 Journey roughly 3.5”ID(Funny eh?). Waiting for my cone style AFE dry filter...
Added the Mopar intake to my JT and I have the AEV snorkel already so no need for the bezel and door kit. All brand new in the packages with everything for install. Door can be opened for cool air and closed for rain/snow/dust. A true cold air intake.
Asking $75 Canadian plus shipping.
I had it too, more prominent during warmer summer months so i ran 89 or 91 octane. 91 when i was towing at it appeared to minimize it or eliminate it. I continue to run 91 as it appears the 11.3:1 pentastar likes it better. I find it runs smoother and pulls better on hills with a smidge better...
And another. This is a cold start, about 5 celsius that morning. Still really happy with the exhaust but Ive noticed about .5mpg lose, BUT that could be from the cold weather and longer remote starts.
2020 Sport S 3.73. 2” inch front lift with Mojave coils, .75” rear lift with Mojave coils, 2.5” magnaflow crawler exhaust with dynomax super turbo muffler and afe dry flow filter. Also have rubicon steel bumper, warn 10s winch, 35” GY Duratracs on factory steelies and AEV snorkel. 19.1 mpg as of...
Prepped for winter. Likely my last full detail wash and prep as the snow starts falling this week. Full power wash, hand wash, ceramic wash and graphene detailer. Sprayed off the frame and added a fresh coat of fluid film.
Hilarious, 6 ish months for me as well. 2019 TRD Pro 6 speed manual. Looked cool, rode well but I couldnt stand everything else.
If this is indeed a Tacoma, looks like they ditched rear drum brakes and rear springs. Its low but likely a 2wd sr5 tester.
Few revs after some miles on it. Did about 120km drive today. Appears to have gotten a little deeper. I like it. Had a small exhaust leak so I tightened the front ball flange up a bit.
Same here, kind of over it for my DD. By no means was the Magnaflow bad, just not my cup of tea. This is my third super turbo, one on my old 4.0 , 3.8 and now my 3.6. Been impressed on all 3 setups. I threw on some black header paint, hope it helps as its only downside is its aluminized steel.
I did a two chambered muffler prior, dont do it. It was awful, it droned like crazy around 2000-2200 rpm. My Magnaflow was an improvement but I still wanted less. I just found the perfect tone (for me) with the dynomax super turbo. It has some rumble at low rpm and has a decent growl throughout...
Replaced my Magnaflow 2.5” Crawler exhaust today. Kept all the piping as Im a fan of the high tuck but but with a 25” Dynomax Super Turbo 2.5”. Nice tone, slight rumble, zero drone or buzzying at certain rpm. Best thing, it doesnt sound like my Jeep is trying so hard. I post some videos soon...
I ended up doing the Mojave Springs and shocks together. Happy I did. Also added the rancho control arm drop brackets with my spacers. Rides like a dream and tows my 1700lb overland trailer without drama.
Lets wait and see. Best answer.
Jeep engineers have already announced a full electric line up by 2025. I think its brilliant and it will keep Jeep buyers loyal for years to come. Brands not moving to some type of electric will die as fuel and costs of living continue to skyrocket. I know in my...
2” front Teraflex .75” rear daystar but also with Mojave shocks/springs (didnt give me any additional lift with bumper/winch). Try to get a side pic when I can.
