I'd prefer the driver's side only, but might be interested in the whole thing if you have it. It should be pretty easy to ship. PM me if you have one laying around.
I have a body shop doing a repair and they have to remove the handles. While they are off, I thought that I might add the remote entry. Does the Willys model have the wiring preinstalled from the factory? I know that I have read on here where certain models do and others don't.
Thanks, it looks pretty good from what I can tell. I may sand it myself and take it to them to paint. It can't be much harder than sanding and painting kitchen cabinets. I'd love to see more pics if anyone has them.
Has anyone actually had their textured hard top repainted by a body shop? If so, can I see some pics? Did you sand out the texture or leave it?
I am considering having mine color matched when my repairs are done from an insurance claim. I am curious how it would turn out if the textured surface...
Haha, I was shocked that it didn't really do much damage. I hit it square on with the left front wheel and the Jeep basically jumped it. I hit it square on with the left rear wheel and went swerving all over the road after I hit back down. Other than a realignment and cleaning blood and guts out...
One of the JL users said you could fold the rear forward then the front over it toward the back. Does that work with this one? He said it basically stored the top over the soundbar.
I got my new LEDs installed and they work great. Much better. I have a little bit of flicker on high beams. I still have the halogens everywhere else for now. Can I have a dealer reflash it or do I need to wait until I have LEDs everywhere?
Dealerships don't have loaner cars right now so they are only an option if you can go without a car for a couple of days. I'd deal with it for a mechanical issue, but it isn't worth it for a rattle that they are going to say can't be replicated.
