I kept the rear seat in and used the child seat loops to Velcro a carpeted 1/2" plywood piece over the seat. If I have 2 legged guest I just un-Velcro and toss it in the bed.
For those of you who have not had issues does not mean you will not. Every little cycle of a battery is "wear" and takes a bit off of the life. Lead acid batteries are best stored full so when they are continually draining (parasitic loss) and not used for 10 days it is counted against you. So...
I have a diesel with 1.5 level kit in the front and I only get 21mph @ 75mph with the stock rubicon 33(32.5) tires. It has been less than impressive for mpg even though I am a very chill driver. Yes it has much better power than the 3.6 but I am constantly concerned if the DPF is filling. I do...
You should be able to adjust your WDH hitch to account for it. For more adjustment maybe airlift instead of Sumo (those are just foam rubber blocks right?). If the hitch is setup correctly the vehicle should sit close enough to level. I have not had any lighting issue with WDH and Airlift bags.
I snagged a Compact - regular box for $35.80 shipped.
Thanks again OP

I see people saying power coat but I have never seen powder coat that doesn't flake off.
Also if powder coating over stock wheels would you do the whole thing or just the front?
WOW! Thanks Mike. That confirms how significant the parasitic draw actually is. In 3 days you went from 12.7-12.4V ish. At that rate you would be at 12V in 7 days and 10V in 27 days where it would really piss the computer off.
It is no wonder why there are so many claimed "bad batteries". If...
Is this graph with the battery maintainer on and running when you park it? Do you mind posting a graph without the maintainer? I suspect after 2-3 week of no vehicle use the voltage would be below 12.0V.
I thought the same thing but once I looked at the wheels I realized there was no method to attach center caps. The centers are fully dished and there are no tabs to hook to. Find full proof before you invest in wheels because I gave up trying to find center caps. .
Cant you order one cheaper than $67,800?
If you go to negotiate that I would tell them you have seen it on the lot for months and the only way you would touch it is if they replace BOTH batteries and they give it to you for X% over dealer invoice.
There is no lock for lifting up the rear seat. Only the release strap for dropping down the seat back. Maybe something slipped between the seats and is in the mechanism. It could have also got jammed in there from below the seat. Take a good look and I be you will find something.
