Originally I was planning to order a Sport S Max Tow. Then I showed my wife Gladiator colors one night and she said she also liked Gator 1st pick. Then, that she thought it was really cool with the red accents! Suddenly, just like that, I was getting a Rubicon... She has hated my JK for years...
To top it off both Black Friday deals for mods and new products being released at SEMA are happening in November. I've been careful not to bug JeepChat more than once a week, but look for tracking updates or my VIN having a build sheet daily. Ho-ho-ho...
GATOR GATOR GATOR!!!
I ordered dual top rubicon, 8" radio, cold weather, tow package, aux switches on 9/24. Nothing on the build sheet link for my VIN. Nice to see the line moving though for sure, thanks so much @GlacierGladiator !!!
Maybe this thread will have more meaning once “the world” shows up to the game, hopefully post-SEMA show. For now, the Mopar lift looks pretty respectable in this post:

Yeah the swatch looks a lot darker, and a lot greener than the Wayout. Funny, Glacier, I thought you had stated before it was like the wayout?
The photo looks like an indoor shot, artificial light can mess with colors. A shot of the same swatch on the sun would be interesting to see any...

Whatever you can get someone to give you for it, going rate seems to be around $300 for local pickups.
To me the biggest part of the MaxTow benefit is the wider axles, and 4.10 gear ratio. You would not lose that. Plus the Daystar 2" kit rear spacer is much smaller than the front so higher bumpstops and shock extensions are not even required in the rear. It's near-stock with a little cushion out...
I would really like to see an alternative 2 - 2.5" lift with coils and quality shocks to compete with the Mopar. And don't say "Evo"... someone else posted that their 2.5" EVO coils gave 3.5" of added height up front. Just enough to make 35's start to look silly.
What I imagine we will actually...
I like the idea of the pizza-cutter sizes but pretty much avoiding anything E-rated here. The Ford Raptor comes stock with C-rated tires, as does the Gladiator Rubicon. I don't think either stock vehicle would struggle with carrying a cap and a tent.
Pretty smooth terrain from a Colorado point of view. Kinda reminds me of my favorite old Jeep commercial, some things never change (thank God for that).
Wow, that is a bummer! What kind of tool were you using, impact wrench or breaker bar? I've got to think that's some kind of fluke but really unfortunate. Was it just raw torque, did the head come off or bolt break part way up the shaft?
Any slider that needs to really take the full weight of...

I’ve had Ace sliders on my JK for 4 years. Checked around for the Gladiator to see if anything new looked better. It didn’t. 20% off this week so I ordered, even though my Gladiator build is still just...
I opted out of the steel front bumper, largely due to wanting a more custom look, less of a factory look. There are a lot of steel JL front bumpers on the market to fit the JT. Also the winch "capable" Mopar bumper from my understanding still requires you to buy a mounting plate kit for...
Yeah back on early days of having the JK Wrangler the same problem was commonly observed. We had forum threads on how to remove the headrests, then we bent the metal arms back to make the headrest position more upright. I was expecting to have to do that on the JT but have not yet looked closely...
I chose the 8.4" upgrade primarily to get the Subwoofer factory installed. I did not want to mess around with running speaker wires and place an aftermarket sub or try to pay Car Toys to tear into my brand new Gladiator. After having the factory Infinity sub in my JK I don't want a vehicle...
