@Pizziola29 thanks for posting the detailed photos and please let us know what JCR has to say. I have some Ace liners to install myself and those big spaces in the stock flare look like they would fill with mud that wouldn't have a way out. That exposed wiring run is not great either, would at...
I have mods stored in my basement and not enough time and good weather to install. Hotheads headliners, Ace inner fenders, Rigid offroad lights, Warn winch showing up next tuesday. I went a little nuts on black friday specials. Spent yesterday afternoon and a bunch of today on front bumper...
Its not the government dictating you have that feature. It is the fuel economy dictate that the manufacturers can meet more easily by implementing auto start stop on the test courses. Most brand new cars do seem to have it for 2019 or greater...
My understanding is that the government regulations dictate the off switch must be non-latching. Meaning it turns itself back on continuously. when you turn the vehicle off and back on. That is the pain point.
What if the auto start stop "learned" your preference? If you turn it off 10 straight times driving it could stay off. Could that satisfy the government edict?
Sitting at a long light not burning gas is not itself a bad thing. The vehicle overriding my last setting is the main issue I have for...
This is such a cool idea. I hope DayStar or the like come up with a pre-fabbed molded solution for this kind of use to include a bright LED cube while keeping some reflector function in the space.
I have a new Gladiator on 2" Mopar lift. Coming off of driving a JKUR with the AEV 2.5" dualsport the last 4 years.
The Gladiator feels softer, and a little more boat-ish, some of that is the wheelbase and some of it the nature of the lift. I actually enjoy the slightly cushy nature after the...
Yeah my dealer said they could flash for speedo but had to get a VIN specific file from FCA. Couldn't do TPMS due the "liability". So I just picked up a Tazer from Rubitrux. It's ok, my experience is the sales part of dealerships can be good but run for the hills on anything to do with service...
Order date 10/23, Shipping email 11/6. Shipped through some oddball truck courier and arrives flat on a pallet. I got it through RealTruck and if you call you might be able to get 5% off msrp as well. I was told Diamondback doesn't do black friday deals. I'll be watching this week and feel silly...
Ace rock sliders are great, I had a set on my JK for years as well. They make a good step for getting in a lifted jeep. With the 2" Mopar lift installed I needed them on first thing so my wife could get in easier. They are also functional protection for offroading but TBH I never was in the mode...
Diamondback SE install. A couple quirks but happy with the product overall. Took me all afternoon but not like I'm picky about alignment or anything...
The body bolts were a PITA. FCA installs with red loctite. I had a cheap electric impact wrench that could not throw down the torque needed. So it was lots of cranks with a breaker bar and a pipe over it, then spinning the second half out with the wimpy impact wrench. Probably took me an hour...
Ace Engineering rock sliders. They were in my garage waiting and first mod the dealership didn't do for me. Sure helps step in to the lifted setup too!
I'd never run a soft top I cared about through an automated wash. Spinning strips of cloth embedded with the abrasive dirt of all the previous vehicles that went through before you...
With 35's my tires are too wide for the track in the drive-in places anyway, so it will be driveway or...
