Well I figured it out after several attempts. The permission needed was on the Google maps app on my phone next to my profile picture and with two taps the display on the truck lit up with the mapping. Thanks to all for your help!. MW

I just purchased rear rock rails to go along with my factory side rock rails, are they are big enough to use as a step to the bed. Unboxed and inspected them and pretty impressed, minimum modification required (cut a small part of plastic from bumper cover). Aim to get on the install soon...

I have been searching as well. I have the Bulletpoint dual phone and camera ball mount. I read a thread somewhere that the GP can acutally function as a dash cam if you put it in loop mode. The "hassle" or turning it on and off really isn't a hassle. I'm likely gonna end up with a Hero.
