  1. Grill trim rings

Has anyone seen these trim rings available by the piece? I only want 2 rings. In the scheme of things, $40 for 2 rings is no more ridiculous than other overpriced Jeep parts.
  2. Easy routing of wires through passenger side pillar

No, I have a GMRS radio mounted below the freedom panels. I need to snake wiring to the aux switch wires under the glove compartment.
  3. Easy routing of wires through passenger side pillar

Anyone have a tip or trick to running wires from the freedom panels, down through the passenger side pillar? I need the wire to end up in the passenger side kick panel.
  4. 5 light light bar wiring

Thanks for all the tips and tricks for my wiring job. Got the lights wired yesterday and it was far easier than I was making the job out to be. I'm not positive I love the height of the bar though. The lights blast over the cab and have zero deflection, so I might just leave it as is.
  5. My ass is killing me after a 4-hour drive

Since the internet has ruined me and I never clear my browser history, my search results for seat jacker really wasn't Jeep related. That being said, I'm also in for a seat jacker. ;)
  6. 5 light light bar wiring

I am just using cheap Oedro 7" round for now. I'm not going to buy a harness because I was just going to cut it all apart anyways. I'll check out those connectors you suggested.
  7. 5 light light bar wiring

Thanks, that is exactly how I want it to turn out. Any thoughts on a slick connector for making it QD?
  8. Aux switch wire gauge

Yeah, that's why I thought 8 gauge was a little ridiculous for 200 watts of lights.
  9. Aux switch wire gauge

It should be 16' or under. I am going to route it between the bed and cab and come up from the bottom into the engine compartment. I've been searching forums and have seen guys running as low as 8 gauge to the battery for 2 100 watt lights. So that was giving me a range of 8 to 18 gauge and just...
  10. Aux switch wire gauge

OK, so I should be fine using 12 gauge wire and t taps to connect the lights and run that wire straight to the aux switch wire and tap the ground wire the same way? Obviously, running the ground wire to a proper grounding spot.
  11. Aux switch wire gauge

Do I need to run 10 gauge wire from 5 lights ( 250 total watts ) to the 40 amp aux switch or does the switch already have heavier wire running to the battery? I'm assuming the switch to the battery requires heavier wire. The lights have 14 gauge wire, so I'm trying to determine how heavy a wire...
  12. 5 light light bar wiring

Anyone else have some tips or tricks?
  13. 5 light light bar wiring

Stupid question, can I just splice each light into the single wire?
  14. 5 light light bar wiring

I am installing 5 - 7" round 51 watt led lights on a light bar. Each light has a hot and ground wire. Is there a simple way to join all five lights to 1 hot and 1 ground, then run the hot to an aux switch and the ground off the frame?. There are many harnesses available for 2 light set ups. I'm...
  15. I let my ASS be used for the 1st time...

    I'm good like that.
  16. I let my ASS be used for the 1st time...

That was the whole purpose, other than hearing people bitch about another redundant question.
  17. I let my ASS be used for the 1st time...

I'm debating my next question. Will 35" tires fit a sport with max tow, what gas mileage should I be getting, Do I really need to regear if I am running 40" tires, what does the 419 in the bed mean, etc...
  18. I let my ASS be used for the 1st time...

It actually activated at a 4 way stop. I waved someone on and went to accelerate right as it activated. That caused the little hesitation. Coming from driving a Ram with a Hemi and performance exhaust, I drive like a grandpa in the Gladiator. I'm sure living in a rural setting, I won't have the...
  19. I let my ASS be used for the 1st time...

I have to say, I am not a fan of it. Not that there is anything wrong with it and if you are pro ASS, more power to you. I actually forgot to hit the button and it took advantage of me. The brief hesitation is what made me realize I had not hit the button. The auto start stop can't possibly...
  20. Folding light bar brackets

Oh, ok. I wasn't aware that a light bar mounted on a chase rack would add any noise to the cab. Thanks for the info.
