Just realized that I have that option.
Of course that bay doesn't have an opener and I would have to reorganize the garage. But....
Now I can leave the top up and
get a lift and 40's !
Nah !
You know I don't care a bit about the whole "man bun " thing but this might be a real problem for me. Also be aware of those super low parking garages . Ha !
My JT came with the hardtop, couldn't wait to get my soft top installed. Install went great and I was thinking I better check clearance into the garage with the top
folded back. Course I forgot.
Knocked it right out of the tracks and bent the hell out it .
This is actually a picture of...
Three years ago now I found out Farmers was ripping me off to the tune of double. I'd been with them for 25 years and the agent actually became a friend . I found out when I went to add a car and the price just seemed way too high. Started shopping around and got really pissed .
USAA Amica and...
I was thinking just a retaining strap in case they blew out. The first install the corners were very stiff and are rock solid. About rolling the window up , I don't think it's even possible with the corners in. Maybe it was a later requirement because, you know , liability. Just in case.
My JTW came the hardtop and I installed a soft top within a week and never did install the cab corners or window . Love it this way. Now we're taking a 5 hour freeway drive and I thought maybe put the corners on and window can come or go as I feel like but the manual says both or neither.

Project Farm recently did a bed liner test (a legend on You Tube with nearly 2 million subs ).
He had done a previous test on spray on and wasn't impressed , this was roll on version . He is very thorough .
I agree . Maybe not shorten but strip
the plastic and remount the fog lights . I've already spent $4000 on upgrades in the two weeks I've had it. .Most of that was the premium soft top . Budget blown.
Did you put a steel bumper on ?
Just wondered . Looks to me like there's no metal framework behind the "wings". Anybody strip the plastic off and run it that way ? Love to see a picture of what all that plastic is hiding . Cheap metal bumper ? Ha !
Would sure make engine R&R easier ,not that I'm planning that on a new truck . On my old stuff it's remove hood, find someplace to store it where it won't get damaged then reinstall and line up the hinges . A pain .
I don't want to order til I know I'll be home and we won't be home in October. Going to Moab and Zion !
What's funny is this was planned well before a JT was on my radar. Bought one two weeks ago. Hope they don't run out again and have a backlog.
