First off, I realize I should probably DM @Gvsukids before posting. He's like the forum historian ... great at digging up old threads that address "new" topics. But I didn't...
Has anybody confirmed if the 06/2021 and newer TPMS sensor is compatible with an earlier model JT? The threads I saw...
I went with a rooftop solution, ski rack + travel tube. But I imagine you could mount one of those 2-piece racks made for a wall/ceiling to your panel and add bungees or velcro straps to secure your rods in the slots.
You can find several youtube videos searching "jeep gladiator headliner diy." It's basically half inch insulation/foam board, headliner material from Hobby Lobby, spray adhesive, and velcro to attach it. I used thin poplar board as a backing to reinforce it a bit since the foam board is fairly...
Wow, that looks great. I made my own headliners for less than $100 in materials and added the sound assassin strips. Wish I had thought to paint it black while I was at it.
This is on my never-ending list of jeep accessories to purchase. Are the freedom panel latches still easily accessible? And does the sunshade make it more cumbersome to take the panels on and off?
I had this on my 2020 within a year of purchase. My understanding is that it happens when the surface is improperly treated prior to painting. Probably why it tends to happen along the edges and seams.

And seeing how good yours look makes me realize how bad mine look now.
I put the same on mine a couple years ago, black/red. Looked great for a while, but I have now incorporated color-matching duct tape where they have begun to disintegrate. The red tape doesn't necessarily match the now pinkish seats.
I regularly sprayed them with UV protectant and use a sun...
I'm a fan of this. Capacity for multiple devices, and you have the full run of the bar to position exactly where you want.

Ezra's correct. It's hard to stop once you've started. Being friends with him, I'm going to try and get him out on the trails. But if he's fighting the urge to mod, I'm not sure what kind of friend I would be. Btw, he's never written a bad article, and his vids are just as entertaining.
Did you ever pull the trigger on the leather seats and have a good install experience? If so, which leather did you go with? I'm considering the XT for durability bc of kids, dogs, wheeling, etc. Any info is appreciated.
