  1. Tools needed to install Mopar fox shocks from a 2022 gladiator on a 2023 with Mopar shocks

I swapped Rubi Springs and Rubi Fox shocks on to my Overland and was very unimpressed with the shocks. I drove them for about a year and eventually I just couldn't take the pogo sticking rear end anymore. Besides that there was also a lot of body roll around corners and going down the highway...
  2. Parking Brake Handle Removal

My leather trimmed parking brake handle was gashed and I’m trying to replace it. I picked up a used leather handle grip off eBay for way cheaper than replacing the whole assembly. I’ve read where others have swapped their vinyl handles to leather so I know it’s possible and I’ve already sorted...
  3. Not what I meant when I said I could go for a T-bone..........

I was t-boned in the driver's front tire and fender in August. Much less cosmetic damage than you and no airbags, but ended up being a huge fiasco with the body shop to get it fixed. 4 months later and ended up being more than $24k in damage with replacing the front axle and the entire frame...
  4. Not a Great Business Model - Ford is Bleeding Losses on EV's

This isn't unheard of by large corporations. Amazon operated at loss for years all the while gobbling up market share and driving out competition. Amazon reported a net loss of $4.6B in 2017 despite its revenue reaching $177.9B. This investment strategy paid off in the long run though, as...
  5. Texas FS: Maximus Stealth Front License Plate Bracket

@jeffbn23 What side of Austin are you on? I'm south and I'd be interested in the bracket and the filler plates you have posted.
  6. Regear/Axle Advice

I've been looking at going to 35s from 33s on my JTO which has the 3.73 gearing and the best price I've found locally here in Central TX is $2,500 parts and labor just for regearing so again I think if you found someone willing to do the gears and axle shafts for that price I would jump on it...
  7. What can we do for you?

Hi Benny, The body shop killed my battery while doing repairs and replaced it with an H7/94R. Can you confirm the part number to replace the battery shield? Is it 68307801AC or 68307801AC?
  8. Has anyone removed the Factory Hardtop Headliner?

I believe it's just held up with velcro is it not?
  9. Toyo Open Country 37/12.50R18 Deal on Woot for $276.25

I've been using Woot for years and sometimes find some pretty good deals on there. For those not familiar it's now a subsidiary of Amazon and works kind of like a closeout website for them. FYI sometimes things are fulfilled by various carriers depending on the seller and they only let you check...
  10. What size tires/lift are on this Gladiator?

Looks like it says 35/12.50r17LT on the side of the tire. No idea on what the lift is though from the pics.
  11. SARGE GREEN Gladiator club

That bronze/gold combo looks great on Sarge! I was looking at picking up some 392 tow hooks in a similar color to compliment my new Mopar steel bumper, but since I suck at painting and would want the rear to match I decided not to go that route.
  12. SARGE GREEN Gladiator club

lol, sarcasm was the best way to end that conversation.
  13. Anyone Running Eibach Shocks or Springs?

Considering the Falcons are usually almost 5 times the cost of the Eibachs I had hoped there would be a noticeable difference, so I'm not surprised. Good for you on getting them for a deal.
  14. Anyone Running Eibach Shocks or Springs?

I know they’re not in the same ballpark, but out of curiosity what’s your thoughts on the Falcons vs the Eibach shocks?
  15. Anyone Running Eibach Shocks or Springs?

Yes the instructions state that, but no I did not extend the end links when I did my shocks. I’m guessing this is a carry over warning from their lift springs? I’m not entirely sure how shocks would need these extended to avoid binding or damage to the suspension.
  16. After Driver's Side Impact, Now Pulls to the Right After Repairs

On a hunch that maybe they torqued down the LCA bolts with the Jeep still on the lift, I loosened my LCA bolts and then retorqued with the weight of the vehicle on the ground. It drives straight as an arrow now!
  17. Anyone Running Eibach Shocks or Springs?

That's great to hear. I wasn't sure where this thread would go when I first started it, but I'm happy it turned into the write-up/review that it did. I've been very happy with the Eibach shocks and it's cool to see them being mentioned now as well in other threads as an alternative to the...
  18. After Driver's Side Impact, Now Pulls to the Right After Repairs

As the title states, I just got my '21 JTO back from the shop the Friday before Thanksgiving after almost 4 months (feel free to check out that lengthy story here https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/i-got-t-boned-today.71994/). Since I don't have a lot of faith in the shop in...
  19. Unfortunately I totalled my gladiator, can't believe airbags didn't go off

I was t-boned into the front axle in August, no airbag deployment on mine either and I was doing around 50 mph. It was a significant impact that resulted in replacement of the front axle and frame. After almost 4 months I just got mine back a week ago. It was over $24k in damage and they still...
  20. I Got T-boned Today

Of course it took a little longer than expected, but Friday night I got my Jeep back. After almost 4 months and lots of back and forth between insurance and the shop, it feels good to have it back. To no surprise though it does come with some caveats. They made it clear on Friday that they were...
