Cleaned all the mud off it from a day on the trails and engaged summer mode. She cleans up nice. I think the kiddos have as much fun swapping the roofs as I do.
You can also build your own external system. I originally built this for use at the trail head airing down or up but find it as useful when the seasonal temps change and the tire pressures need to change with them.
This past weekend we did a little detour while traveling through Western NC. As a newer Jeep owner I'm still amazed by a vehicle that can bounce along a technical trail in 4 low, blast through winding forest roads, then jump back on the highway for a 4 hour drive home.
Buzzard's Roost Overlook...
One thought that could expand the appeal and volume - what about offering the bed cap alone (no pop top)? I would love a bed cap that allowed full access/pass-through to the main cab that looked as OEM and integrated with the vehicle as you've done. That would essentially be creating an extended...
The stats for incorrect car seat installation are crazy - over 90% have some issue. Well worth checking that you're not in that pool. In Massachusetts you used to go to the fire station. The grizzled fire fighter told me if you're not sweating by the time it's done you haven't installed it right.
One additional consideration is the trim level of the truck. When I was pricing out warranties the cost of my base sport was way less than the upper trims levels. Since there's significantly less electronics in mine I decided to skip it, figuring most of the issues I might face would be in the...
Went last year to Uwharrie and let me 19 year old drive for the day. We had a great time and the instruction was great for him as an off-road beginner. Plus it was someone else telling him what to do so he'd listen. :like:
Taking kid #2 this year.
Growing up my folks had season tickets just a few rows up from that same spot. Such a great spot to watch a game with all the energy from the student section - even if it was a loss.
They make a lot of sense. It seems the biggest challenge of the propane heater is managing all the moisture (assuming it's burning cleanly). With some vents/ducts you can have the diesel heater running outside the truck so no issues with moisture or exhaust gasses.
Here's a setup that would...
Welcome to the fun! There's a lot to be said for the basic driving experience of a manual truck with the most elemental functionality. My first Gladiator was exactly like yours (color and all) and like you said, on stock tires it was good - not great - but good.
But once larger tires went on...
Yep. Especially if you have a sport with manual windows - then there's no electrical to worry about. Door catch and wiring harness come off in March then all summer long it's just 3 minutes to pop the doors off to the storage cart and slip out the rear window.
This was the third summer for me...
Ah, got it. That's helpful to know about the level of trails - and not offending the locals. And yes, the SCAR was a route we were thinking about. Sounds like it'll be a good way to spend some time in the woods. Many thanks.
Closest I can think of is this. But I don't think he cut the rear bulkhead like you said.
