  1. Payload question for the diesel

I love the idea of a diesel. I just really wish they made a configuration that allowed for a max tow capacity with the kick butt engine.
  2. First oil change, Should I be worried?

@LostWoods hit the nail on the head. IF you’re stressing about it you could always pull the filter and check periodically for shavings at 2-3k just for piece of mind.
  3. Odd mileage on a new Gladiator on a dealer lot.

Man i hope mine still looms this good after 170k …im at 73k-ish now
  4. Are they trying to steal my catalytic converter?

Of all the things I’ve learned about the Jt…still not sure where the cats are.
  5. Arizona Curt echo Bluetooth brake controllers

    How much? Any issues?
  6. Replacing both batteries

No issues at all. The random light outages that started me down the path of changing batteries have stopped. I also learned about jeeps smart charge (or whatever the name is) where it is okay to have a reading of 12.4v and so on.
  7. Radio volume fluctuating

I always turn the speed adjusted volume off. It’s annoying
  8. Debating on a new Gladiator and have some questions

Its still a relatively new vehicle when we talk about long term engine wear. Personally i have the 3.6 gasser and have 76,000ish miles on it without any major issues. The engine its self is a pretty well tested engine (as far as i read and on this forum and elsewhere) performance is always a...
  9. Debating on a new Gladiator and have some questions

I wish they had the trac loc when I gor my JT in 2019.
  10. Debating on a new Gladiator and have some questions

@Blitzinger Then getting what you want up front and stock seems important. So the rubi or mojave are borh great options for a little oem lift and feel. From what ive read the mojave has the better ride quality between the two.
  11. Debating on a new Gladiator and have some questions

I saw a 392 at the Philly auto show and was surprised to see the suspension sag like a MFer after a plus suzed citizen got on board. And i mean sag enough for me to go bring it to the attention of a rep. The rep promptly laughed and said that all their 392s had done the same thing.
  12. Debating on a new Gladiator and have some questions

I’m partial to the sport S with max tow. But that’s because I pull a camper and my off-road and consists of driving on and off the beach for surf fishing. if you’re going to put an aftermarket lift (even mopar) on it anyway I think you’re wasting money buying a Rubicon. You can get a sport S...
  13. Debating on a new Gladiator and have some questions

Unless you plan on off roading and using the lockers a rubi may be spending extra $ on stuff you dont wont / need. Its an expensive vehicle so trying to loointo the future a bit would benefit you. Do you intend to tow? do you intend to run sand dunes? do you want the most high end feeling...
  14. Pulling to right after Fox steering stabilizer install

If your toe readings are right then they’re fine. But id verify them. I never got a printout and just trusted mine was good when the shop said it was. Until i re checked and adjusted my self. you’re caster looks great. Im no expert but im fairly certain we can’t set or alter our camber without...
  15. Wandering? Bad ground.

Glad they found what sounds like an easy fix!
  16. Pulling to right after Fox steering stabilizer install

I didn't the install my self, they VERY simple to do if that is a concern for you. When I put it in I just bolted it up and didn't think about it...if memory serves It was probably right out of the box and onto the JT. With the wife's JL I installed it right out of the box in what ever position...
  17. Pulling to right after Fox steering stabilizer install

After I took my fox 2.0 off and primed it ive had no issues. I also reset my own toe after having a shop do an " alignment" several times. Once I set it my self the JT is perfect, so much so that I wont event mess with the front end and have marked all my adjustment points so I know if they ever...
