I truly think threads like this are just shameless counter intelligence by other brands to skew google search results...
When you search "Jeep gladiator sucks" this isnt the first thread to come up...but it certainly doesnt exactly pain a pretty picture of a potential buyer.
Meanwhile JD...
We don’t have sales tax but we do pay transfer tax, just like the government to make you think it’s a good deal and get you on the backend!
What kind of JT are you looking at getting?
My wife and I bought a JL from Maryland and then had to transfer it into Delaware. Maybe it’s because it was through CarMax, But I paid almost nothing to transfer it to Delaware.
before I made the purchase I did call a state DMV and had them walk me through the process so I knew what paperwork...
X2 with the manual shifting. Completely forgot to mention that part! I have the same experience with rpm and shift points.
I’m pretty sure I saw someone on this forum, maybe in the what are you towing thread, that was pulling the fifth wheel scamp. Not sure if that’s the same as what the OP...
Meh…5,600lbs dry with a hitch weight of 715lbs. Just pulled through the Appalachians to a KOA in central PA.
The ONLY place that was a slow down was a steep grade climb where Even the tractor trailers slow down. I ended up doing about 25- 30 mph in 2nd and 3rd gear, 2nd just at the top of the...
Keep in mind the OP is newish to the forum and this looks like their first thread. They had an issue and turned to the place where they thought theyd find some answer and/or clarity.
instead of scolding them, why not just read the thread and move on if you have nothing meaningful to contribute...
This makes me wonder what the projected life span for the bags are. Im sure it different with different climates, but since i live close to the ocean id bet mine will harden up pretty quick. I think im two years with them in now.
Anyone have an insight into their life span?
With only the min 5 or 7 psi (if I remember correctly) they shouldn’t provide any lift or support. My understanding is that the min psi is just to make sure the bag retains its shape and position when not in use.
im also fairly sure the airlift bags max at maybe 35-40psi.
can’t speak to their...
If you’re set on having them separate and/or ran towards the back maybe next to the license plate? Accessible and sort out of the way of every day interaction.
Or tour could drill a small hole on either side of the hitch and mount them there. Though the steel may be a pita to drill into.
The color is neat, reminds of these seats a friends mother had in her jeep when I was growing up.
Ive never personally understood why folks get these handles since the JT comes with grab handles already molded into the A pillar. But with that in mind I suppose it couldn't hurt to have a set of...
nice! That is also a step I wish I did in retrospect haha
If you watch that video I linked I did my fill nipple in the same location as he did, behind the fuel door. I really like that spot since I never have to be concerned it will get damaged by road debris or who the heck knows what. And its...
The compression is actually why I went with the IRO spacers. The steel doesn't deform like the poly does, though Im impressed that they only have a bit of deformation. I had a set of daystars on a KK and they actually deformed enough I had to replaced one side.
That being said I followed the...
nope, i think this is actually the first time ive seen this on the forum.

Haven’t read through the entire thread yet. But give the duelers a chance haha i gone away from them and ended up back on em’ and being very happy. There’s plenty of owners who use the heck out of the Jt with those stockers. That being said they’re far from rock crawling tires! But they’ll do...
