3200 Miles and 2 month old Jeep Gladiator. Check engine light came on this morning. Not pleased. Sitting at dealership.

Ahh, no biggie. Solid not flashing? Likely just something simple like a sensor and you’ll be good to go!
I’ve had a flashing check engine light 3 times now, so far it just goes away after 10 seconds….

im sorry im confused as to why you decided to start a thread here without even figuring out what the problem is. or before taking it to the dealer. i dont know why everyone with a problem has to come here first and complain before they go to a dealer. maybe its just me if thats the case i guess im just as bad typing this. either way good luck i hope its nothing major. thats what warranty is for.

My CEL went off (flashing and solid) a few times between ~900 miles and 1,500 miles. It didn’t store a code, so I didn’t bother running it to the dealer.

It was a bit frustrating, but it hasn’t been an issue for a bit now (currently 3,800 miles). I will have the dealer scan it to see if there’s anything they can see when I take it in for the 5,000 mile service though.

You never know…might be something minor.

We live in a world where everything must be documented or it didn't happen...Starting threads about every CEL is just like having to photograph your miles at 1941, its just what people do now. Document, they do homework...

Keep in mind the OP is newish to the forum and this looks like their first thread. They had an issue and turned to the place where they thought theyd find some answer and/or clarity.

instead of scolding them, why not just read the thread and move on if you have nothing meaningful to contribute.

we were all new once. Let the new person do new person stuff. Its normal.

i had a similar experience when I first got my JT. Had either an PCM or ECM flash and the CEL went away. No issues afterwards.
