  1. Coolant under warranty?

I was looking through a junk drawer (for something else) and what did I find? Some pH strips! Don't remember ever getting them, but I'm sure at the time I thought "these might come in handy someday". Goes to show you that you should never throw anything away (contrary to what my wife says about...
  2. Side Steps for the Wifey

I bet you could assemble a whole 'nother jeep from all the parts on your shelves! :)
  3. Side Steps for the Wifey

Looks really nice! And only $100. What a find!
  4. Side Steps for the Wifey

Good score! I didn't know there were stock running boards. How do they look? Any pics?
  5. Coolant under warranty?

You can have the ???, but I'll take the ???! I'll get some pH strips and test it myself. 6.5 seems awfully low based on what you said.
  6. Side Steps for the Wifey

Thinking that I won't likely go rock crawling (I couldn't bear to put a scratch in my baby), I added some side steps so my wife has an easier time getting in. Bonus, I can now wash the bird crap off the hard top. The steps were cheap, $145 from Amazon Warehouse. I guess I only want to empty one...
  7. Coolant under warranty?

Oh, I'm fine with the shooting of deer. They are just big rodents in my mind. Best would be a clean shot through the neck that would take out a couple of squirrels on the far side.
  8. Coolant under warranty?

They liked me too much to upsell me, I think, because I talked a lot about deer and boar hunting with the manager. I'm a vegetarian, but I didn't tell him that.
  9. Coolant under warranty?

That is one long-ass dipstick! Levels look good. No leaks that I can see.
  10. Coolant under warranty?

I had my oil changed at Midas and they did a coolant pH check. The coolant is too acidic with a pH of around 6.5. They said the coolant should be under warranty (2022 Gladiator Rubicon). Is that true? I never heard of fluids being under warranty.
  11. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

Yep, it's done, but I chickened out on the DIY, at least 99% of it. Seems the shop neglected to plug back in the front locker cable. Didn't notice the locker fault icon until I was almost home. So I crawled under and plugged the wayward plug into its plugging place. I must have done it right...
  12. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

Thanks, IdleThunder! De-lifted: Looks more in balance to me. Plus, I swear I'm getting a 2 mpg increase.
  13. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

I bought it used and I think the lift was installed by the original owner after the sale.
  14. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

Based on what I'm seeing underneatch, I'm pretty sure this is the kit that was installed: https://www.roughcountry.com/product/configurable/jeep-suspension-lift-kit-63730c So, I'm guessing I'll need shocks, front track bar, and front/back sway bar links.
  15. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

Thanks for the tip. I'm in fayetteville so Off-Road Service will work!
  16. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

Northwest - Fayetteville to be exact. Woo Pig Sooie!
  17. Un-lift a Rough Country lift

I tried to find this shock on the RC website, but I couldn't find a matching part number. Some of their shocks are ok for stock height. Also, do I have a lift kit or a leveling kit. I'm new to this.
