Thinking that I won't likely go rock crawling (I couldn't bear to put a scratch in my baby), I added some side steps so my wife has an easier time getting in. Bonus, I can now wash the bird crap off the hard top.
The steps were cheap, $145 from Amazon Warehouse. I guess I only want to empty one pocket. The only issue with them is the rails are straight and the body is rounded so there is a gap at the back end. But from a distance, they look okay.
The bottom sides of the steps are higher than the lowest skid plate, so there's that. But I can always swap the factory rock sliders back in if I get a wild hair up my derriere and want to try the Rubicon Trail or Moab. It'd take about an 45 minutes or so to do the swap.
