I use a OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth connector and JScan for diagnostics and making changes. There are cheaper Bluetooth adapters but the OBDLink was recommended and works great. Also have a Tazer that reads codes but I only use it for the live features
I read that thread and have tried taking it off and reinstalling it. You can trust me when I say it is properly installed. Both sides fit very tightly even after having the driver's side on and off several times, it's not easy to remove. It snaps firmly in place every time and I have to pry...
I appreciate the help but they are installed correctly. They pop solidly into place and don't move under normal conditions. I've been emailing back and forth with Suma and they said the issue has come up before. It isn't a solid hit against the housing, just barely enough of a pinch to hold a...
Has anyone tried both these and Suma Performance mirrors? I’m current using Suma and from what I’ve seen they are both very similar. I bought Suma looking for a wider side view. The problem I have is when driver's side is adjusted out it hits the plastic housing and has popped off a couple of...
I’ve had several trucks done by Line X over the years with no problems whatsoever. The 23 Gladiator was sprayed by them and it still looks new when rinsed out
Finally got around to installing the RSE sliders/steps that have been in the shop since their last sale. The diesel isn’t lifted like my first JT but they sure make things easier for a short fat man.
I’ve got almost 5k on a set of 35x11.5 AT4Ws on my JTRD and love them. On road they’re quiet and ride great just like the AT3s they replaced and they do as well in slick mud. Haven’t tried them on rocks yet but I’m very happy with them.
I had a less pronounced but similar squeak coming from the front right of my ecodiesel. It ended up being either the tie rod or drag link. I was able to snug both a little and the noise is now gone.
I’ve never run the Trail Hog a/t but I did try the Overland RTX in 37x12.5 early last year. Had three different shops try to balance them and they could not. Kanati stood behind them and refunded what I paid but it took a few months.
It is a pedal that installs on the left side of your footwell and gives your left foot a place to rest while driving. I didn't get one for the first 10k I put on the first Gladiator but after a few multi hours trips, decided to try one and liked it. I've added a picture of one
I used the Redarc in my first JT and recently moved it over to a diesel. The thing I like about it is the size. It fits right into the dash where the cigarette lighter was. There should be a cord taped up under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. That is where you will connect the...
I’ve only had this one 3 months but the trip home from buying it in Delaware was the best so far. 1,500 miles in 32 hours through several states. Saw some beautiful country and learned a lot about the diesel. For this trip I was alone and in a hurry. I would like to make this trip again with...
I had Baja Boss ATs in 37x12.5 on my gas Rubicon for 2 years and approx 25k. The main things I noticed weight wise was that the brakes didn't stop as quickly and it was a little more sluggish during acceleration. To combat lost acceleration I just had to turn the pedal monster up a notch and...
A few months ago I sold my built 22 JTR and bought a stock 23 JTRD. It was almost 1,500 away and I flew to get it so there wasn't much I could take with me. The thing I missed the most on the drive home was the dead pedal.
Back in March I went with the Wildpeak AT4 in 35x11.5. Have about 4k on them now and no complaints. Haven’t had them on rocks yet but they do well in mud
The one I have is by Eight 13 but mounts the same. I installed it using a 1/4" impact and 2 extentions. Once you know where the nut is, it isn't much trouble to get a 13mm socket on it to run in and out
