I'm going to build a timber-framed style cabin, but laminating dimensional lumber to make up the timbers. I need the width of the boards to be exact, so I rip them on the table saw (to 5 1/4 inches). Everything else is done with battery powered tools.
The picture shows the top part of a bent.
Is it possible to run a 15 amp table saw out in the woods using the 3.6 pentastar as a generator? It seems a shame to buy and haul a generator when there appears to be a perfectly good "generator" sitting right there in the engine bay. I assume I would need a 2000 watt inverter to convert the DC...
You folks are the best! Here is my jury-rigged system, which seems to be working. Now I need to buy the plug and such referenced above.
I have the wires draped across the backup camera so I'll see them when I back out of the driveway (in case I forget to remove the system).
Unlike folks that are (understandably!) irritated by it, I actually want my Start/Stop system to function (yeah, I'm a tree hugging, Jeep loving, Prius hating liberal - a weird combination, I know). After an infrequent long road trip, start/stop will start working, but after a couple of days of...
On my GM cars, I could check if the doors are locked by pulling on the door handle, even if I have the fob with me. To unlock the door with the fob on me, I had to depress the little button on the handle.
With the Gladiator, however, I just have to pull on the handle (with the fob on me) to...
I'm still waiting to be called in for my clutch replacement. Why does it take so long? It can't be lack of parts, like it was with the airbag recalls a few years back.
I recently bought a used 2022 Rubicon for $39.5K, with 12K miles, list was $59K. Dealer came down about $3K. Probably could of/should of gotten it for cheaper, but I'm a pushover. It's a manual transmission.
So maybe $30K for what you're looking at?
My 2022 Rubicon is a manual and my ESS has worked only a few times. I'm a rare soul who doesn't mind start/stop. I wish it would work more often, but it always says not ready.
Thanks for the confirmation!
A Pierre Cardin Javelin? Super nice. I always wanted a Spirit AMX. That was the first car that changed my thinking from "I want a car" to "I want THAT car".
