  1. What's the consensus on the revised/post-recall clutch?

Didn't notice a difference on my 2022 Rubicon
  2. Gladiator Friendly Windshield Shade?

It DOES fit perfectly! Thanks for the tip.
  3. Trickle charge auxiliary battery?

Got the 7-pin plug as advised. Stop-start is working!
  4. 15 amp table saw off of inverter?

I'm deep into the Ryobi ecosystem. If I can score a good discount at Direct Tools..
  5. 15 amp table saw off of inverter?

Yes, I have the DeWalt 7485 table saw. I really like it. It's sturdy, but very portable.
  6. 15 amp table saw off of inverter?

I thought as much. I was just hoping the electrical system was beefy enough in the Glad.
  7. 15 amp table saw off of inverter?

I'm going to build a timber-framed style cabin, but laminating dimensional lumber to make up the timbers. I need the width of the boards to be exact, so I rip them on the table saw (to 5 1/4 inches). Everything else is done with battery powered tools. The picture shows the top part of a bent.
  8. 15 amp table saw off of inverter?

Is it possible to run a 15 amp table saw out in the woods using the 3.6 pentastar as a generator? It seems a shame to buy and haul a generator when there appears to be a perfectly good "generator" sitting right there in the engine bay. I assume I would need a 2000 watt inverter to convert the DC...
  9. Trickle charge auxiliary battery?

You folks are the best! Here is my jury-rigged system, which seems to be working. Now I need to buy the plug and such referenced above. I have the wires draped across the backup camera so I'll see them when I back out of the driveway (in case I forget to remove the system).
  10. Trickle charge auxiliary battery?

^ That kinda makes sense. Sometimes, I'm not the most logical
  11. Trickle charge auxiliary battery?

Unlike folks that are (understandably!) irritated by it, I actually want my Start/Stop system to function (yeah, I'm a tree hugging, Jeep loving, Prius hating liberal - a weird combination, I know). After an infrequent long road trip, start/stop will start working, but after a couple of days of...
  12. How to check if you've locked the doors

Thanks for the tips! I'm gonna go the RTFM approach and change the response to pressing the lock button on the fob
  13. How to check if you've locked the doors

On my GM cars, I could check if the doors are locked by pulling on the door handle, even if I have the fob with me. To unlock the door with the fob on me, I had to depress the little button on the handle. With the Gladiator, however, I just have to pull on the handle (with the fob on me) to...
  14. Jeep going in monday for Recall 19A clutch replacement

I'm still waiting to be called in for my clutch replacement. Why does it take so long? It can't be lack of parts, like it was with the airbag recalls a few years back.
  15. Northern Lower Michigan camping trip with 2023 Mojave Gladiator

Never heard of sugar beaters. Must be a Keweenaw thing!
  16. Northern Lower Michigan camping trip with 2023 Mojave Gladiator

Gorgeous scenery and Gladiator color! But you can just say "Northern Michigan". Those in the know know you're still in the land of the Trolls 😊
  17. Who wants a loooooooong bed….?

Still, I wouldn't mind a work truck Gladiator, i.e. single cab with an 8 ft bed.
  18. Looking for Thoughts on Used Gladiator

I recently bought a used 2022 Rubicon for $39.5K, with 12K miles, list was $59K. Dealer came down about $3K. Probably could of/should of gotten it for cheaper, but I'm a pushover. It's a manual transmission. So maybe $30K for what you're looking at?
  19. Not complaining, but auto start/stop has never been 'on' in my new 2023 gladiator

My 2022 Rubicon is a manual and my ESS has worked only a few times. I'm a rare soul who doesn't mind start/stop. I wish it would work more often, but it always says not ready.
  20. Coolant under warranty?

Thanks for the confirmation! A Pierre Cardin Javelin? Super nice. I always wanted a Spirit AMX. That was the first car that changed my thinking from "I want a car" to "I want THAT car".
