Whatever you do don't get the iron cross steps. Major headache from the hardware to the flaking powder coating. I'm gonna estimate mine will be rusted out junk within the first 2 years.

Another vote for the Rock Slide Engineering steps. With the optional skid plate they are about 1/4" thick steel. And they are wide enough to set your 44 oz drink on while you open the door.

When I decided to have the 2" Mopar lift installed I knew that I would need steps that went further down than what I have on my Wrangler. I like them. Except for the clunk they make when they close.

Anyone here done anything to make the steps quieter?
