  1. Having issues with my key fob

Make sure you aren't putting your key fob somewhere that one or more of the buttons are constantly being pressed. I ran into this with my previous vehicle - I had the fob on a key ring and the bottle opener next to it constantly pressed one of the buttons while in my pocket. This killed the...
  2. Lasfit Aux question

I think the obvious solution is to get lockers and fill that spot with the red switches
  3. Fall run at Rausch Creek 10/22

I'd be on board for a trip on the 4th if there is a green/blue group ... or bypasses for me on potentially damaging sections of harder trails ... picture of me driving my gladiator.. ... I am okay being told to wait for another trip if I'd be holding back the group.
  4. ISO overhead gun rack

I'm in the process of following these instructions to build one of these racks for myself. I didn't have a rivnut gun, but figure this one will work for my forseeable needs ... not cheap but not too expensive and includes an assortment of rivnuts to get me started..... Rivnut Tool on Amazon ...
  5. Aoaa or RC trip or somewhere else?

I'm interested in doing some easy stuff - bone stock Rubicon. I haven't been to RC or AAOA, but did visit Paragon a couple times many years ago when I had a TJ. Should I be thinking of more armor underneath beyond the LCA skids?
  6. Gladiator damaged during Jeep Wave claim... :(

    Looks like that'll buff out?
  7. This is so easy.

My other hobby is the original offroader that stands 16.3 hands and always requires hay, alfalfa, vet visits, new tack, new shoes .... at least this all makes my JT look cheap.
  8. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

Do you a picture of that you can share? I've been thinking about the same, but haven't looked into it too much yet...
  9. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

Does that count as one of the trail badges? :)
  10. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

My windshield has the Jeep in the corner ... I am guessing Safelite replaced the Gorilla Glass with an OEM part from Mopar, but I didn't really ask.
  11. What did you do TO your Gladiator today? [ADMIN WARNING: NO POLITICS, NO GUN TALK]

Shout out to Alex @RealTruck who gave me a great price on a BakFlip x4s and front and rear WeatherTech mud flaps ... everything went on the truck today with one small issue. Bakflip didn't include the four lock nuts needed to fasten the roll-up section of the cover to the side rails!! - A quick...
  12. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

I don't have the ACC so can't really provide any feedback on that one. I did go from Safelite to the dealer to have the inspection and emissions stickers put on. I was talking to the service manager while the technician was doing the stickers and he mentioned how much more expensive it is when...
  13. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

Ouch ... that beats me ... my first went within four days of picking up my JT .. but at the end of 400 mile road trip.
  14. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

Probably true ... just can't help ourselves???
  15. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

Yeah, they said the same thing to me when they replaced my windshield. :)
  16. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

Good tip! I'll have to file that one away for future reference.
  17. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

@JW Jeep - I did see your messages. I don't think this was a case of my own tires throwing up the rock as it happened in a highway construction zone in some reasonably heavy traffic. I am pretty sure the car in front of me threw the rock up.
  18. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

Aw c'mon ... you can't leave us hanging like that .... how many?
  19. How long did your windshield last before cracking?

y'all are killing me with your lucky duck stories!! To be fair, I previously drove a TJ for 8 years including 3 hours of daily highway commuting and never had so much as a chip in the glass. It was just my time to lose this round of Russian Windshield Roulette ... crossing my fingers to win...
