I'm interested in doing some easy stuff - bone stock Rubicon. I haven't been to RC or AAOA, but did visit Paragon a couple times many years ago when I had a TJ. Should I be thinking of more armor underneath beyond the LCA skids?

@JW Jeep - I did see your messages. I don't think this was a case of my own tires throwing up the rock as it happened in a highway construction zone in some reasonably heavy traffic. I am pretty sure the car in front of me threw the rock up.
y'all are killing me with your lucky duck stories!! To be fair, I previously drove a TJ for 8 years including 3 hours of daily highway commuting and never had so much as a chip in the glass. It was just my time to lose this round of Russian Windshield Roulette ... crossing my fingers to win...
