I'd be on board for a trip on the 4th if there is a green/blue group ... or bypasses for me on potentially damaging sections of harder trails ... picture of me driving my gladiator.. ... I am okay being told to wait for another trip if I'd be holding back the group.

I'm in the process of following these instructions to build one of these racks for myself. I didn't have a rivnut gun, but figure this one will work for my forseeable needs ... not cheap but not too expensive and includes an assortment of rivnuts to get me started..... Rivnut Tool on Amazon ...

I'm interested in doing some easy stuff - bone stock Rubicon. I haven't been to RC or AAOA, but did visit Paragon a couple times many years ago when I had a TJ. Should I be thinking of more armor underneath beyond the LCA skids?

My other hobby is the original offroader that stands 16.3 hands and always requires hay, alfalfa, vet visits, new tack, new shoes .... at least this all makes my JT look cheap.

I don't have the ACC so can't really provide any feedback on that one. I did go from Safelite to the dealer to have the inspection and emissions stickers put on. I was talking to the service manager while the technician was doing the stickers and he mentioned how much more expensive it is when...

@JW Jeep - I did see your messages. I don't think this was a case of my own tires throwing up the rock as it happened in a highway construction zone in some reasonably heavy traffic. I am pretty sure the car in front of me threw the rock up.

y'all are killing me with your lucky duck stories!! To be fair, I previously drove a TJ for 8 years including 3 hours of daily highway commuting and never had so much as a chip in the glass. It was just my time to lose this round of Russian Windshield Roulette ... crossing my fingers to win...
