🤣🤣 awe man, don’t want to be lumped in with those guys
I work in racing, unfortunately it does tend to come with a more sarcastic and self deprecating sensor of humor.
🍻
I wondered what they called Professional Internet Trolls these days 🤣🤡🍿
In all seriousness though, if you want a solution or ideas, use forums. Want to complain, use a therapist.
All cars have issues, pick your poison or ride a bike 🤷
Maybe a Prius is more your style
Cheers 🍻
Yeah all fair. Only thing I’d suggest in concept is this setup is prone to failure caused by lateral deflection, so I would suggest reviewing your lateral stiffening of the hitch receiver and mount and/or carry 2 snatchblocks to rig it for straighter pulls, but otherwise 🍻
Agreed, I love hearing all the creative ideas on tackling different problems.
Maybe a 6k synthetic winch with a 2” receiver, 10k hitch pin and a 2:1 pulley block is the ideal setup for that. I like that concept for a 2nd winch
All fair points, just some would choose to drive on, some like the “clean” look of not having it fulltime mounted there. Diesel jeeps are notorious for weight saving on the front end. Just one of the great things about jeeps, freedom to do whatever you want :)
This would be the logical conclusion for a dedicated rig or rock crawler with a high percentage probability of needing to use a winch and time was a factor. but I am projecting based on his response that he is using his rig with a much lower percentage of probability of using the winch and/or...
Ah, I have added page 5!
you are just the man (I’m reaching, yes 🤣) that would like to talk to!
I have fallen down into the suspension frequency rabbit hole and was just about to do on a spring testing journey of my own. Maybe you could spare me some knowledge on your spring testing applied my...
Alright, I will jump into the “triggering-fest” and see if I can give it the good ole college try.
After reading the first few pages of these posts and the last one (my attention left after like page 3 and came back on page 6 🤣), almost all of you guys are right and wrong at the same time...
Welcome! There are many very educated individuals on these vehicles in this forum and can add some great insight. I bought a gen3 EcoD Rubicon last year and have put 30,000miles on it this year traveling all over the country towing a 4,000lb trailer.
A couple of things I will touch on that...
What a great thread!
Here is my setup:

Sorry for the delayed response, I have been busy packing for the move to NC. What do you mean? Throwing money at me is always best! :CWL: JK. On to the serious bit: unspring mass wise, you will probably be a little better but maybe not enough to notice a big difference. Traction wise, the 35...
I originally listed them for $2,000. Then lowered to $1800. I changed the original listing to hopefully help on confusion of the price, figuring people would only read the first post and not its updates :CWL:
