Started teaching myself to powder coat. Turns out a lot of the parts I like are shipped bare steel, so I decided powder coating might be interesting enough of a hobby to learn and could save me some money in the long run.
First attempt tonight on some of the rear bumper trim for my Motobilt...
? - Feel the same way as you do about the lights, I researched them and knew what issues they had for others' install, so was prepared. Already had a JSCAN, so was little risk to me.
Easiest fix for Oracle is to change the wording from plug-and-play to aftermarket programmer *may* be required...
Just a note, many of us with a '22 that went from halogen to the Oracle's had to install the resistors and flash the computer to set the tail lights to LED. It's the only thing that seems to cure it completely.
There's another thread here -...

The 10.5" stroke version
$225 + shipping. So roughly 50% off, felt like paying it forward as that's the deal I got on the anti-rock. Earliest I'd have them ready to ship is 11/12.
I'll post up in the marketplace and tag you when I have them in hand off the truck.
So I'll have a lightly used set for sale after the 11th, swapping mine out for a front anti-rock I got on the cheap. Been on my truck for about 3 months, rides great, nothing wrong with them just had always planned to go anti-rock eventually and when the deal popped up, I took it.
It's the width of the wheel, so mine are 17x8.5, which are probably closer to what you would want/need. I think the minimum width for a 35 may be 7.5" depending on tire manufacturer specs.
Backspacing/Offset have to do with where the hub is in relation to the centerline of the wheel.
In the...
I started with halogens. I will amend my earlier post by saying I ended up having the issue with the right tail light going off. I used JScan to swap the rears to LED and they are working fine now, left the resistors on.
If you are still troubleshooting, I would use the resistors and keep it as...
This.
Long story short, according to my insurance agent who recently paid out a little over $6K on a new transmission for my truck. "A collision is a collision, offroad or interstate, you hit something, it's covered."
What's not covered is the aftermarket parts, most of the time the policies...
@Northridge4x4 has this video of the difference in the Warn winches -
Personally, I have a Smittybilt - https://www.smittybilt.com/product-skus/smittybilt-xrc-gen3-9-5k-comp-series-winch-with-synthetic-cable-98695/
Got that at a decent discount on sale, however I probably would just go with a...
That's actually a great suggestion for anyone here considering these lights. Buy through Northridge, that way you get their customer service and return policy.
Like you, Northridge has been great when I dealt with them. I give them most of my business when I can.
What you are also forgetting is for every story you hear on the internet of them being 'trash', there's a happy customer who hasn't bothered to post because they aren't angry, looking for a solution, or coming to dog the company on the internet.
That's the problem with boards like this and...
I'd save your money on the throttle body spacer. As others mentioned the Banks, iDrive, or Pedal Commander will give you more of what your probably looking for than the spacer.
If you are dead set on doing upgrades, look at a ported throttle body instead of the spacer. Just know that upgrades...
Interestingly enough, I just saw on their social a link to their skid. Their webpage, now shows a drop-down which includes 2021 and Up, so maybe the new version is ready?

I've not seen above 7k so far in portable lifts, I think I'd be comfortable with this one and it's not totally unreasonable on price -

Oh yeah, I didn't say I paid the $6K ?. I paid my deductible and will pay some over the next year(s) as my insurance will increase some.
That being said, the insurance agency handled it like rock stars, no troubles, no arguments, no issues at all really. Paid for a rental and the original tow...
