Thanks, I had noticed you had a Sport S like mine is why I was curious.
I'm on a 3.5" lift and a -6 offset so was curious if I was going to run into too many issues once I get my Jeep back and get these mounted. How's the 4.88 gears and 37s so far?
My plan is to re-gear and mount these at the...
Those of you who already have them mounted any issues with rubbing with the 13.5s?
@DocMike -Are you thinking the fender trim is necessary with the 37s?
We must have run one distribution hub out of tires, mine came out of NC. That could have been the reason they were out of stock for a little bit too.
For those calling this an IT mistake or someone getting fired, I doubt that too. I bet this is warehouse clean out of stock so they can fit new...
So I broke the Jeep a couple weeks ago by getting a branch/limb shoved up the hoohah and knocking out the transmission cooler line...one burnt up transmission later and insurance claim later.
Yesterday I pulled the trigger on the belly pan to hopefully prevent that from ever occurring again...
Nowhere near as bad as I was expecting, I thought it would be a full on land sail but it's not that bad. I don't roll with it open over about 45-50 mph though, so it could flap more at higher speeds I'm sure.
HA! I laughed then cried at the truth of this...
Most common answer would probably be some type of leveling kit or lift, followed quickly by wheels and tires.
I'm going to throw out a different suggestion, one of my favorite mods is the Bestop Sunrider. Makes opening and closing the roof a breeze and I never for the life of me thought I'd love...
Holy cow, that's a heck of a nice discount price on that from Quadratec right now. That was one of the one's I had looked at but always balked at the price.
I ended up buying the Motobilt Hammer series rear bumper, got it ordered through Northridge this morning...
I'm thinking he means that the specs on the link for the 40s don't match the name. i.e. it lists a 10" width and 20" diameter for the tire, also two different tire pictures. The 40's would be much more of a crap shoot to buy and hope for the right tire.
I got in on the Kenda sale for 315's earlier this year for Wal-Mart, sometimes these turn out to be real.
I also bought a set of 5 of these, as at that price I can afford to take a chance, says delivery Friday. We'll see how they turn out.
So I have a new still in the box Metalcloak Rear Diff Cover and Rear Diff Skid (unpacked and then repacked).
I bought these, but then decided to go another brand since Metalcloak had no ETA on the Front Axle set up for the 22 model year.
Everything below included, I don't really feel like...
