I traded a 2019 Challenger for the Gladiator and honestly prefer the seat in the Gladiator. I would say for long highway drives a dead pedal is almost a necessity though.

OKC to Nashville (think it was 9 or 10 hrs) in one stretch with a stop for gas/food. Ride was great, although I was still all stock at the time.

Went to check out the Nemo Tunnel, nice little drive through TN countryside to get there. Nemo is an old abandoned railroad tunnel in the Catoosa Wildlife Management Area. Came across a couple other Jeeps in the tunnel, tight squeeze but we were able to pass each other safely.

Think if it was a shade darker like Plum Crazy Purple it would do well.
