So far I like them. They work great for getting into the Jeep. Getting out takes a little practice. You have to use your heal to catch the plate then it works fine. To be honest, I bought them for mostly entry and for the kiddos. My daughter who is 5 uses them for entry and exit and has no...
Ok, MORE steps are in. Talk about a PITA install. It’s all straight forward but the back steps take a little bit if you do not want to grind them down. The front steps went great. I chose to take the rock rail off. 10MM wrench for the 8 side bolts and 12MM for the 4 body mount bolts. Once...
M.O.R.E. Steps came today! I have 4 of them. Should have them in either tomorrow or Thursday. This is one I haven’t seen a lot of pics of, I will do a write up for the install.
While the subject is up, we have June Bugs the size of baseballs here in Missouri. Do you all catch a lot of bugs with the top folded back? It looks like if so, that is on the inside portion of the sun rider when stowed so is it easy to get bug guts off of?
I have seen Rubi front bumpers sell between 1-125...looks like people will scoop them up for the red hooks...I have a plastic sport bumper listed as well as a Rubi plastic (bundle deal when getting the Rubi takeoff suspension) and still no love. If either of mine sell, I will keep the other in...
This thread had the best info I have found:
https://www.jeepgladiatorforum.com/forum/threads/coil-spring-part-numbers.17448/post-288398
shows the different spring numbers. I guess max tow has an extra coil but the stiffness for the rubicon with the fox shocks they seem to be very similar...
I did recalibrate with the tazer mini...it has paid off for me with the recalibration, changing everything over to LED, and disabling start/stop. I highly recommend it.
I will for sure post up pics when I get the kit on this week so you can have a reference.
Looks like it is close and you have some room to play with on the plate...maybe some influence from a hammer and bend one side a bit....or if you have a vice that you can move, stick that plate in there and turn slow to start making a C shape until you can get it through. I do not know if you...
I mounted mine to the existing spare with no problem...unless you are wanting to do a 5 tire rotation I would save the money on buying a matching Rubi wheel. I also have the 1.5 teraflex and .75 daystar. They are in the garage waiting to be put on (potentially Thursday) and will give you...
So far I am happy with them...I can’t compare them personally to those brands but all the reviews and research I did on them of other people that have ran name brands and went to Kenda were first surprised of how nice they are for the price and really have nothing bad to say about them....I can...
I watched the install videos but without actually installing it, it’s hard for me to fully grasp how it works. I understood some screws on the side made the Sunrider a complete unit from the side pieces to the top and others secured it to the Jeep...but without one in front of me wanted to ask...
I appreciate that info. Good to know for sure. I am really digging the Sunrider and know I would use it all the time. Plan on only going fully naked a couple of times a year...in the Midwest the weather changes in a lick and sometime unexpected. Just curious on possibilities with the...
I am pondering the Sunrider. Looks like a quality option over the freedom panels and everyone that has pulled the trigger has nothing but good things to say. My only question, if you decide to Go naked, doors and back top off, what about the Sunrider? Do you just open it up and leave it or...

Here is a link to TheDudes build. He painted his sport wheels and they turned out very nice.
