I have the 7" and couldn't justify the price to the 8.4". - Just had a loaner car with the 8.4" in it...there is no doubt it is nicer, but at $1500 it is hard to justify. I am just hoping to pick up a swap later something at a bit better price point.

How many miles do you have so far? I have heard as much as 1500 for the mileage increase to top out. (although I wouldn't consider 1mpg "significantly worse." - Are the axle ratios the same)?

Totally agree...it's not like we buy Jeeps for the gas mileage. That said, around town... My JK was around 16 My JL was around 18.5 My JT (Still breaking in) is around 16.9 Even 2 more mph is an increase of 12% (or something like that). :)

It might be tied only to the Adaptive Cruise Control. I don't have that feature and don't have that box...but still have regular cruise control. I didn't get it because of how much it blocks.

I have to go back and look at that. I thought there was no real difference on Mythbusters with regards to tonneau cover. I thought the only improvement they found was a mesh tailgate (which also begs to question how much the tailgate weighed).

That is good to know. I started around 16 but it seems to be going up a little bit each tank.

Right now I am close to 17 mpg. Sport S running 4.10 rear though...so not sure how much that is factoring in. Would be good to hear from someone with the same configuration. Hoping when it breaks in it will get closer to 19. That, and maybe I should drive a bit slower :)

Since I did not have a chance to order my JT, I ended up with one without LED. Now I am searching down the rabbit's hole for what and how to convert to LEDs. Get them if you can.

That may be the most expensive Sport S that we will see. The sad part is that someone will buy it not knowing how many options are missing at that price point.
