2020 Mojave 78k miles here with the original aluminum steering box. I get a little wander but it's nothing concerning, for me at least. TBH I think I get more wander because I tend to look around when I'm driving and apparently my hands follow my head 😂. But seriously, mine isn't very bad at...
Why not wire them to the bed light switch? Those lights only light up when you unlock the doors or open the doors then you can toggle them on and off when you are driving if you wish.
I like this but wish it were available for the Driver side since I already have items mounted to the passenger side and for ease of fill up already being on the driver side. Shame.
Just checking here....but did you maybe lower the ambient lighting all the way from the switch on the dash? There are two scroll wheels there. One controls the ambient lighting, cups holder and floor board and the other controls dash lighting and all the way up turns on the overhead lights.
Have you done any work with any of the suspension components or sway bar and torqued while the Jeep was still off the ground? I know sometimes squeaks and knocks can come from doing that. Should torque while the Jeep is on the ground and all parts are under some tension.
I think the pictures may have been a better representation if they had been taken from the same vantage point in the down and up position instead of from underneath when up or stuck to the roll bar. Just my thoughts. But cool idea.
Just had my shocks rebuilt (74k miles) and during that swap out put in the Air lift 1000. I've got a bed rack, RTT, and fridge back there. Put 10 psi in the bags after putting it back on the ground and the bed raised up about an inch. The drive home was amazing!
I had the same problem. I figured I accidentally unplugged something I shouldn't have while I was up under the dash. Pissed me off!! I spent hours with the drive seat out head wedged under the damn dash to see what I may have disconnected. It lasted about a week if I remember correctly...
Agreed with all of the above! The adhesive side is black so from the drivers perspective inside you really won't ever notice it. One thing to keep in mind is if you get the print laminated or not. Some laminate can have a slight haze to them and not be optically clear, there may also be some...
I chatted with Blake from All-Terrain Shock Solutions in Houston about the very same thing. As I've added weight I've noticed that my 70k mile shocks don't quite meet the bill. He suggested a rebuild and then either upgrading to the Mojave X springs and or toss some airbags in the rear.
He is...
Yeah, absolutely! After chatting with @ShadowsPapa a bit I am modifying to include either a standard 12V socket or a USB outlet as well. I need to do a fit up. I printed the parts last night, so I'll get that checked out today.
Sure, I don't mind. What rating are you looking for? This is the 50A, but I have a 175A that I could probably model up and print as well. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to work up a couple of different configurations anyway.
