Nope...you're 100% correct and as for myself I already carry. Texas is a stand your ground State so the gun toting judges won't think twice about the protection of your property.
But all valid points!
What about possible Car jacking? If the Jeep is already running it has been proven that it no longer needs the fob or any other input to continue running. The magnetic thing may be cool in the event you are told to get out. Snatch the magnetic key and the vehicle shuts off. Just a thought.
I'm not saying it can't be done. But if OP was going to just purchase the BlueOx hardware from Rock Hard 4x4 and then try to put them on the face of the bumper at the end of the frame rails the cool looking protruding hooks from the Arcus would be in the way or would not be installed and then...
The Arcus is a great looking bumper but without the BlueOx specific hardware I wouldn't trust it. I ended up going with the Rock Hard 4x4 since I could bolt up the BlueOx connection points.
Older photo as I now have a winch in that gaping hole on top. You can see where I wired in the...
You said it brother! Serious PITA. I had thought about salvaging the JTM bumper but after all that I said eff it.
I didn't install the JTR Metal as much as I wanted to. I ended up installing the Rock Hard 4x4 aluminum so I could have integrated tow points for the RV. Unfortunately there...
They are Meh...I bought a pair and put them on my Mojave with factory rock rails. They go on just fine but something about the anchor point is off a bit. My wife uses them on occasion. I think if they were slightly more forward they would be in the ideal spot.
Seems a bit high to me. The only real feature I see is the Infotainment system. I'm sure there are still some '23 deals to be had out there on a fully loaded Gladi...just my 2cents
Likewise. I'd be happy to print something up but I's need to tear into it to get the dims. Also, I am away from my jeep for about a week while I travel for work.
It wasn't terrible. The hardest part was dealing with the stock bumper and the plastic panel behind it. Chances are you will only have the bolts that hold it into the frame horn provided they kept all the stock hardware and didn't make any modifications.
Yeah....I did a lot of research before buying my bumper. I ended up going with the Rock Hard 4x4 Aluminum Added the BlueOx adapter and never looked back.
Exactly! The cowl on the Mojave is taller. If you go for the A Pillar mounting brackets they use the top hole in the cowl and will overall will be too tall on the vehicle due to the cowl height.
I spotted these last night. They look interesting but it seems like it's really more for the Rubicon with the electronic swaybar disconnect. They don't look tall enough to give as much flex as the Autolynx.
