Hard hitting quick bass that rock and metal produce would be better with an 8" as it will recover faster and keep it tight. The 10" will probably do fine but depending on how fast the beat is will determine if it starts to sound muddy at all.
@Fpolanco I'd be a buyer of the original Mojave cowl scan. I like the 4xe thing but I am going a completely different direction with it and it would be great to have the base file.
