Mine will bring me to a full stop and as long as the traffic moves within a few seconds it will go or I can tap the throttle. If it holds (brake) for more than 10-15 seconds it cancels it. Not sure if that is that way it's supposed to work on the Gladiators but in my 2016 Cherokee it would...
Just mounted my Rock Hard 4x4 bumper with Blue Ox attachments this week. Still have to finish up wiring the socket for lights but have the CoolTech wire harness installed and the RVi battery charger hooked up.
Hmm..Okay. I do have an extended warranty so I guess I should check with them if it may be covered of course with the deductible. Are there any aftermarket products that are made to remedy this or perform better?
That is crazy. I have a '20 Mojave and still have the Aluminum one. I don't drift all over the road....at least I don't think I do. Maybe I should drive a new one off the lot to see what difference is. I am near 50k miles. Will they still do the replacement under the TSP?
Unistrut for the win. Low cost and able to slide in some cone nuts to do whateveryou want with. I had one small section I had to cut out for the bolt to go through. Slap some fender washers on there and you're golden.
Nice!! Glad to hear it worked for the Mojave. I have been looking at the Aluminum one as well. Just picked up a gently used BlueOx tow bar set-up yesterday off of CL. just need the bumper now.
As a former Wrap shop owner/installer, of you can feel the imperfection when you run your fingers across any area you think may be affected (paint chip) and can feel it with your fingertips, a wrap will magnify those imperfections big time, and because you know it's there your eye will always be...
I've seen a few set around me priced anywhere from $2500 to $5000. I've thought about grabbing a set ad I like the look of the wheels but not super sure about the offset or backspacing for my Mojave.
Ultimately I would like to have a little negative offset to out them out just a touch beyond...
Very nice set up. I have often thought about how I could accomplish the same without the the use of a trailer and don't really feel right putting my DR-650 on a hitch carrier.
Well done! Also, what bike is that? Scrambler of some sort?
Will be working on an E-hoist soon for my top. Nice to see some great examples of attachment points here. I had considered three points of contact through the rear window and front corners but these examples look much more stable. Looks like there is a place for the Freedom Tops on a rack...
I mean...It's cool and all but I prefer a ceiling mounted hoist. Lots of real-estate up there if you are able to do it. I see this lift just taking up too much floor space in-use or not.
