Not sure if it has to do with the gearing...I don't think it would have been a big deal if I were running 4.10...but the Overland is a lot lower and the weight difference was substantial. I think it was around 22lbs per wheel/tire including the spare. It shouldn't make a big difference, but...
My people my people! I have found my people! Literally was talking to my coworker and said I don't need a lift. I do some gravel, sand, dirt, but have no real desire to go crawling...so no need to upgrade the suspension. I did the .75" leveling kit up front because I didn't care for the rake...
I personally want a more aggressive tire without the added weight. I had a set of Rubicon take offs with the Wildpeaks and it looked awesome...but the weight difference between the Overland setup and the Rubicon set up was substantial. My gas mileage on the Rubicon set up was around 17 mpg...
I got my first chip at 1300...this morning...at 23K miles...I turned on the heater since we have had a little snow the last couple of days...and boom...15 inches of glass crackage...
Pulled the trigger on the Shadeidea 2 piece, it was actually available on Amazon for the sale price of $149. It will be here on the 2nd so I will be able to provide some feedback.
The fiasco for my TSB fix was ridiculous from a customer standpoint...but the issue has now been resolved and I can tell there is a good difference in steering. I would still love for my steering wheel to actually be centered...but at this point I am just happy it drives better. And yes I know...
Went to purchase...then I realized I don't know where I will be living when these launch. lol. Waiting on our home to be built and we might be stuck in a hotel for a bit. Guess I will end up paying full price when they actually launch :(
@JeepCares My local deal was supposed to order parts for this over three weeks ago. Do we know if there is a back order? I was told parts would be here this past Tuesday but never got a call about it from my dealership.
We recharge daily. So far the cost of driving over just under 1100 miles has been $12 in electricity, $31 in gas. When I had my Nissan Leaf, the average cost to drive 1K was right around $19.
This is 100% correct. We have the Pacifica Hybrid for the family vehicle and I can tell you that currently we are getting 57MPG. It's only rated at 31 miles on all battery. Most of our trips are less than that to go in to town and all the usual things we need to take care of. We have had the...
Unfortunately, it didn't change anything. I am supposed to take the Truck in for the TSB on the steering box this week, so I am hoping that they find something.
Not the brakes according to the techs. We will see what they dig up when I take the jeep in for service.
I thought it was brakes at first...but the noise sticks around on or off the brakes and I do notice it more when it's cold, but it's still there when the temps reach the 60s-70s range. Then after about 5 min of driving...boom gone. It's just odd.
It's been something that has been driving me nuts for a little over a month now. I took it in for service and they said they weren't able to reproduce the sound...which is odd. Anytime it sits for over a few minutes the right side of the vehicle just squeals for a few minutes like a brake...
Picked up a CURT Echo Mobile Electric Trailer Brake Controller a few months ago thinking I was going to get a trailer or an RV...did not happen. Since we are moving in to a new home, I won't be buying a camper any time soon. Looking to sell my CURT Echo Mobile Electric Trailer Brake...
