I took mine in 2 weeks ago for the same thing. They didn't really notice anything out of place but they did tighten up a few things and I haven't heard it since. Now the only thing that is bugging me is the constant squealing at low speeds.
lol Not exactly a similar example...unless you are dropping thousands of dollars on a girl just to be lied to for 4+ months. But you can associate things any way you want to. I have other toys that I spend money on that have support from companies that take care of their customers.
Sadly this is why I am not modding my Gladiator...a bad experience with ACE Engineering and that set the tone of how I see everyone in the aftermarket arena for Jeeps.
All I have done:
Tonneau
Window Tint
Shorty Antenna
Bulletproof Design Cell phone holder
LED headlights
Have one or two other things I have done, but you asked for 5. lol.
This is either going to get a lot of love or hate...and I am ok with it. But here are a few things to take away from everyone's outrage.
1. Get over this whole cancel culture. I personally love my Jeep...regardless of who endorses or who doesn't endorse it.
2. If you can say there is no rift...
I'll add a little data to this...
Stock Overland with JTR Wheels and tires...I averaged 16.6 mpg over 5 months of driving.
Switched back to my Stock Overland wheels and tires over the last 4 fill ups, I am averaging 21.1 MPG.
It was one of the biggest reasons I got rid of the JTR Wheel and...
I actually have found a way to consistently recreate the sound for me. There is a speed hump, as I leave work, that is angled. I am forced to turn right slightly as I am going over the hump and as the rear end comes over it, it makes that sound. I decided to see if it did the same thing...
I just noticed it 2 times in the last 2-3 weeks...thought it was odd since I was just going over a little rise on the road. I have almost 20K miles on mine and it has the Rubicon shocks, the rest is stock. It sounds like it's coming from the rear driver side. The only other thing I am...
I will say that after switching over to rubicon tires and wheels, the mileage changed a lot. I am typically a mostly suburbs driver, limited highway, not a lot of stop and go. With my driving style I am averaging 17-18 in the Overland with the Rubicon wheels and tires.
I have Sirius/XM on 2 other vehicles, and I typically pay $28+ tax for 5 months on each vehicle. I contact them every 5 months and just tell them to cancel, and then they immediately offer the same deal. I am going on 4 years of that. That breaks down to about $70 a year per vehicle. And I...
I was going to let my Sirius lapse...but then I got sent a deal for 3 months for Free...and added that to the end of my subscription...and depending on the deal, I will probably renew, but I am hoping for another 3 months free.
This is pretty much what I have stuck to. I have almost never needed 4WD in Colorado. I think maybe 8 times in over 20+ years. The couple of times I have used it in the Jeep was to get across an intersection and I saw some ice. I doubt I really needed to engage it.
Does that mean in 4H you can go faster than the 45mph? I have had my my Gladiator for over a year and have gone to 4H 3 times and all of the times I was under 40mph, because I really didn't need to be in 4H.
