I had a @Softopper on my old Dodge for several years, so when I had the opportunity to get the the Gladiator with a soft top it was my first big purchase. The fabric matches the factory top well, so it is very fitt I also got the cap top camper - which makes the bed long enough to sleep in.

@eaglerugby04 your only about 20 minutes from me. I have done some work in Indian Land, SC. Definitely some good meetup spots in the South Charlotte area.
@JAVIERGONZO itās on my list to visit, but Iām already working that weekend. A trip to Rauch Creek would have to be 3 day min. for me - itās an 8 hour drive from Charlotte. Keep me posted for a future trip!
@Radio Guyās recommendations follow my research. I plan on running two 40A circuits to the bed near the knockout for the 120v outlet. I measured 22 feet from where my breakers will be mounted at the battery and 20 feet to the grounding terminal near the battery.
Using the wire calculator with 2%...
Oh, I know what you mean. Had to replace my rear driveshaft before making my 3rd payment! ? Once you get a little trail damage you start to relax a little ?
I used to drive up to Winston to visit friends regularly, and head up that way for fly fishing occasionally. Itās an easy drive, about an hour to CLT.
Uwharrie National Forest is about 1 hour from me. I live in Matthews, NC (east of Charlotte). Lots of cool trails. My 7 year old son has a blast when we go.
First overnight trip to GA camping and wheeling in Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area. The trails were easy with gravel, hard packed clay, and sand. Lots of cool trails and dispersed camp sites to explore.
The kitchen/sleeping platform is great! I added a 1/2ā plywood ācounter topā to make...
Iāve been stuck for 3 hours with my son because no one had a hilift. First thing I bought before going out on the trail again.
A 48ā with the bed side mounting bracket on unistrut works great and is easy to access.
Looking good!
My son and I spent the day with a random couple we met at the Outpost. Had fun in the mud since it rained overnight. We saw lots of other Gladiators on the trail.
I have not been, but Iāve seen some photos of Prentice Cooper State Forest. Looks like it is close to Whitwell. Itās a 6.5 hour drive from Charlotte, NC or else I would check it out, too.
